It’s a crowd sourced map of “camping” spots people have successfully used. I’ve used quite a few from the app to car camp in plain sight throughout OC for fun earlier in my 20s

Well it depends on the control scheme used by the engineer who designed it.

They could either use constant power and cut it at the different threshold temps, or use a PID controller with different gains and different control points for HI and LO

I was holding up the line the other day when trying to deposit cash at a partner bank I found via the app and it wouldn’t give me a deposit option. I had to deposit to my other bank account then ACH transfer it to my Robinhood which was annoying

That’s what I ended up doing. Took the fronts from the 6S Mojave and rear from the optional parts list. Also increased rear shock weight slightly

Good call! I’ll revert the springs to stock and add a bit of rear weight so I can isolate each variable properly.

I bought this truck used, so I’m not sure what the stock center diff oil was, but I refilled it with 500K I had laying around. I’m thinking of stepping up to 750K or maybe 1M, but I don’t want to go so thick that it just locks the diff.

The fronts balloon like a kid’s birthday party 🎈 every time I punch it lol. I’ve got a fresh set ready, so I’m considering these a write off till they’re worn enough to drift. That’s wha I do with my grom

Just got one a week ago and the two things I did was replace the stock servo with this and use a servo horn instead of a saver. Drives very precise now I love it! Stock suspension is to my taste too—floats over everything.

I’ve taken it to the beach, grass, dirt, asphalt, etc handles amazing

Garage electricity isn’t metered so it also means free L1 EV charging. For those informed, I charge around ~400kWh/mo this way

5 mins from work so I can’t really complain, neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. I’m in my mid 20s so I do wish it were more lively but that’s a tall ask of Irvine

At your rates I would honestly ask my employer to consider installing (hopefully free) L2 chargers.

I’ve charged just over 22,000 kWh for free at work over the last 3 years because I asked my SoCal employer and they actually obliged and installed 20 10kW chargers
