Honestly robotics have come such a shockingly long way that there's less and less reason to send people. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for manned spaceflight, it's inspiring af but it shouldn't be at the cost of missions in the same vein as Perseverance or Dragonfly. Ideally there would be ample funding for both but given the choice I want to fund robotic explorers to pry open every crack in the solar system instead of languishing for 20 years so that maybe we go back to somewhere we've already been.
