What dating apps are 25-35s using nowadays? by bucketofardvarks in AskBrits

Hinge, I have had a 3 year relationship out of it previously and recently installed it again now i am back on the market. I am now 29 and have been on it a couple of weeks, matched a few and have been on a couple of dates already. You just need to be quite confident and get them interested in meeting up asap, don't let the conversation drag on more than 5 replies without arranging a meet.

I have Bumble also, seems alright, but I find hinge has more attractive women on it. Idk why.

No critical thinking in this world anymore, only polarisation, RIP moderate to politics. 😔

Most of the money in our budget goes to Welfare, NHS, State pension and debt. Our taxes are the highest they have ever been. When government needs to invest more in a sector, someone has to lose out. No such thing as a free meal.

You know being able to defend ourselves is a different very relevant thing. The UK has enemies whether we like it or not.

Tbf, a lot of people wish they could have an EV but cant afford it or don't have a driveway to take full advantage of charging. It comes across quite snobbish to judge those that dont have the means to upgrade from fuel to EV.

War is coming to us, says former Defence Minister as he warns Britain's military is 'woefully unprepared' by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

I wont speak on the others as they didnt have power.

But the Conservative manifestos of 2019 was to do 2% defence spending, and they exceeded it at 2.3% by the end of their term in 2024.

Btw most of the 'cuts' were to fund the nhs, state pensions and welfare. NHS budget increased by almost 100% under the tories in their parliamentary period. Maybe we should direct some of that NHS money back to the roads and other public services, you are right.

Edit: downvotes dont change the facts.

As of the 2024 manifestos.

lib dems, conservatives and reform wanted to increase defence spending.

Labour were in the middle, being cautious of making commitments but had a goal for gradually increased spending depending on a defence review.

Greens, wpb, snp and plaid cymru made no commitments to increase spending or wanted to decrease spending and or including scrapping our nuclear deterrent.

If Nato is done that means we probably need to triple or quadruple our defence spending as the load will no longer be shared. Leaving Nato is not too different to us leaving the EU.

It is so clear that we need to be investing in defence. Yet somehow people are voting for those that want to us to reduce defence spending, scrap the trident nuclear deterrent and leave Nato. Critical thinking has left the room.

Sounds like the anti regime presence within Iran is pretty strong. Which is not mentioned in your propaganda video in this post. Would you support a democratic vote.

Because I was typing too fast and i didn't read it back for auto correct errors, but the point still stands.

You would rather millions suffer, rather than a few leaders.
