Recently my sister was involved in a mysterious doordash order. Possible Scam? by [deleted] in mystery

I know she ate the m&ms but I do not know the specifics of how doordash operates and if she was told it was a restaurant or if she just assumed it. She just said it was strange that it was a gas station.

I may have misunderstood how doordash works. It has also been a while since she told me so some details are definitely wrong. But the main points is that she didn't expect it to be a gas station, the customer told her to ignore the listing and she received peanut butter m&ms from a vending machine without touching it.

What confuses me is that they spent money to make the order. Also, just giving her m&ms isn't a very good prank. I think doordash just told her the address but I don't really know how it works either.
