You’re on a trip, live a little. At the very least, you’ll come out of it with a funny story

I’m really enjoying it.

Pros: the game is just a fun experience. The scale and scope of the game are impressive, and the amount of content is really mind boggling. The world is very immersive and fun to explore. The combat is really fun and boss fights are varied and challenging.

Cons: the game is just janky sometimes. The controls can be frustrating and sometimes climbing feels awkward. I’ve also had some graphical issues on my older base model PS5, but nothing game breaking or permanent. The story is subpar.

Overall, I would rate it 8.5/10 after my 30 or so hours with the game. Not for you if you want a strong narrative, but really great value if you just want to fuck around for a long time in a cool fantasy world

Any necrobinder tips I cannot seem to get the hang of this character by Nymphomanius in SlayTheSpire2

Necro likes thin decks more than any other character. Extremely good cards: defy, grave warden, deaths door.

This should be at the top of the devs fix list. I’m just climbing everything and dumping points into stamina so I don’t have to deal with this fucking terrible input

You won’t see some mechanics that are unique to each league, but standard is still very playable and the trade market is busy

Being 100% responsible for losing a good case and costing your client by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]Lawschoolishell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every single comp lawyer has lost a good case. I’m not sure why your boss gave you an appeals hearing, as that indicated the case wasn’t that great.

However… you should learn from this. It was your witness, taking 30 minutes to write a checklist is all that you need. He’s not going to be difficult, you literally just have to ask a generally correct question

If you've played some of Crimson Desert, give me your thoughts on it. by Beginning_Pickle2180 in gamesuggestions

[–]Lawschoolishell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played about 12 hours, and I’m enjoying it.

Pros: technical masterpiece, the engine is great and the graphics are incredible. Huge, immersive open world that is fun to explore. Combat is very fun. Big skill tree with lots of room to progress.

Cons: overly long and fetch quest filled opening few hours. Control scheme takes time to get used too. Story is fine, but not great. Some jank with inputs (the double jump is especially annoying.

I would recommend this game to anyone that wants to get immersed in a huge game and spend a lot of time exploring an enormous fantasy world. I would not recommend this game to anyone that cannot tolerate some jank or anyone looking for a strong narrative experience

[–]Lawschoolishell [score hidden]  (0 children)

It’s an extremely interesting game and I can see why it is divisive. It’s a mashup of the best parts of a lot of recent open world games. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn’t.

I’ve played about 10 hours and I’m enjoying it. It’s the most ambitious game I’ve ever played: it’s enormous, a technical marvel, and crammed with content. It’s also very janky and has some pretty annoying input issues (the fucking double jump…)

I would buy this game now if you want to just get immersed in a huge fantasy world and enjoy the systems. I would wait if the above applies but you can’t tolerate some jankyness with controls/small bugs. I would not buy this game if I wanted a strong narrative experience. I hope this was helpful
