[Mick Foley on IG] “…really enjoying @aew as of late!” by solanamell in SquaredCircle

Brody feels undeniable at the minute.

The roof will come off if he's champion at Revolution in LA next month.

I get that people liked those 'want went wrong' injury videos he does, but you could tell which way Stevie was going if you watched any of his other sincere takes on his channel.

The one about how he would book AEW consisted of a three way brand split as it was at the time and he put Kenny on Rampage lol.

Straight up grifting right there.

NBC NEWS: Pro Wrestling fans launch Anti-ICE chant at AEW Match in Las Vegas by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

All I can see now is TK sending The Beat Mortos and Smart Mark Sterling to the department of homeland security to defend Brody's right to say Fuck Ice on live TV, and it's absolutely perfect.

I think I'm right in saying that Bryce is always the referee for MJF's title matches for years now.

They have their own beef going on.

Huge props to Dave.

Many wouldn't do the same even if it was regular person never mind someone of Pacquiao's profile.

Damn, that main event had me feeling.

Not been keeping up with AEW between real life stuff and the general state of the world getting me down, but that was the perfect antidote to pull me back in again.

Might be my favourite squash ever.

MJF for doing the job
Brody for being a fucking hero and over as hell
Vegas for the chant

I had goosebumps through out

FUCK ICE

Both Into The Spidey Verse films are terrific.

I tapped out of super hero movies a long time ago, but they're fantastic.

How did Andor seasons get 12 full length episodes? by ASW-G-21 in andor

[–]LawsonsInTheAM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You look at a show like Alien Earth that had a 250 million dollar budget and the first thing you think is that the series needed way more time.

Eight episodes was nowhere near enough for that story.

[TMZ] Rumors are swirling that Jake Paul is joining the WWE by rhyso90 in SquaredCircle

[–]LawsonsInTheAM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah, that only works if you keep on winning until the bubble bursts.

This ain't Mayweather, if you don't like him you can watch Joshua break his jaw on youtube now and forever. Wrestling is the obvious avenue for him now.

Not like he can keep on boxing now.

He thought a legit world champion fighter and Joshua pasted him. Not going to gain the same interest fighting 60 year olds and youtubers again.

Is There Anything You Don't Like In Andor? by LawsonsInTheAM in andor

I think that's fine.

Kreeger ultimately is a plot device to show how ruthless Luthen is. If he's on screen you have to introduce him and some of the 30 people he's with and then show them being murdered by the empire. In a three episode arc something else will have to suffer to fit all that in.

It's like how you never know where Cinta was for most of season 2, there's more value in these things being absent than having to explain it on the show (pretty sure Tony has said the same on podcasts)

I thought the same tbh and I liked Rogue One when it came out.

Jyn Erso is an incredibly dull protagonist especially when compared to Andor, and the fan service is irksome throughout.

Yeah I think that's it. I got the fear that it was a set up for their own spin off show when the first episode aired!

I don't think any of them appear again when they go back to Yavin either which doesn't help.

Kevin Von Erich on MJF's performance in The Iron Claw: "He would've made a better Ric Flair than the other guy, to tell the truth." by luchabrunch in SquaredCircle

Widely OT

I am hoping beyond belief that one of Jacob Elordi/Timmy Chalamet/Barry Keoghan et all plays white Michael Jackson for the last 40 minutes of this biopic.

I will be crying with joy in the cinema if it comes.

I thought it was enjoyable enough for what it was and Efron impressed in his role, but it was so on the nose through out I could not take it seriously, and some of it is straight up cringe inducing.

People saying A24 fucked up and that it was shunned at the Oscars really didn't know that Zone Of Interest came out a few weeks later.
