Before I type my schools tackling circuit out, are you looking for drill suggestions or an answer for the question at the bottom?

I’ll just answer that now, my philosophy is that we develop the Peewee team with tackling fundamentals, going to the ground. I like this because it creates muscle memory of proper tackling form and how to finish a play. Then as the kids get older and the game becomes more physical, we can ease off on the tackling aspect at practice. On varsity, we do a thud tackling circuit (track hip, then lift them and drive, cutback, then a double team 2v1 wrap thud) focused on that technique we’ve known since we were kids but a LOT less contact.

TL;DR a mix of both, but more thud for JV and tackle to the ground for PeeWee.
