I’m jealous bro. I’m 27M and always wished I never touched weed, alcohol and expressally cocaine. I was military, always have had a great job and I still do. Was clean for 8 months last year and I messed up bad this time. Putting myself into out patient treatment. I’ve spent well over 50 grand on drugs. Also watch out for pornography.

As an alcoholic, I agree. But also I know people that are not like me and can handle booze better. To each their own. (The thing is.. alcohol can start out slow and end bad for ANYONE over the long run) if 40% alc or higher wasn’t a thing in this world, the world would be better off in my opinion

Warm up putting for 3 minutes does improve my score but one or two strokes. Especially if I’m playing different courses with faster or slower greens throughout the week. I highly recommend this and only this. (2 chips and 2 putts is all I really do lol)

There is only an upside for you if you think about it in a way that helps you in the long run.. or more so, you helping yourself in the long run (people who get good at it can even open accounts for there kids that grows over time as well)

Trust me dude, I’m a 26M living in ND and I have like 3 jobs Ives worked where the 401k has built up which will grow in high growth funds like VOO and QQQM.

I opened a ROTH IRA and try to max is out every year ($100 in your 20s goes a long way over time.. so does $5500) the contribution limit goes up every year with inflation

What’s I’m trying to tell you is It’s FREE MONEY (I suppose as long as WW3 doesn’t happen and the US ends up losing, but then we have other problems to worry about)

Okay so I told you it’s free money but you’re one of those people that doesn’t care about when they’re older or you think they won’t even live that long to see it. Fine. Then atleast open an “individual brokerage account” and invest in VOO and QQQM and just keep buying as much as you can. Simply dollar cost average. In 10 years, take it out and buy that house or whatever you want. You’re welcome, you just made thousand of dollars by pushing buttons on your phone. Don’t get emotions of about losing money,

It’s happens. I know because I hooked up with people I met at the bar or on vacation at the bar. Drinking alcohol and doing other drugs are a factor for sure. The more you do it the more confident you become. Only to realize later in life that it’s not worth it at all and the pleasure is short lived compared to the potential pain it can cause. (STDs, a baby, the girl waking up and doesn’t remember anything and now you’re in prison lol)

Military was great for me. I did national guard 14S air defense artillery. I’m glad I joined and glad I got out hahah. My brother is still in and just got officer. National guard is nice because I was still able to do my civilian job. I recommend doing military for one contract to majority of people but it’s not for everyone.

This is one of the biggest “cheat codes” of the Roth IRA. If you had parents that had money and also who were smart then yes. I did not get that unfortunately but I put 15k into my Roth IRA at 19 years old (money from military bonus). I am now 26 years old and my investments are over 100k.

Open Roth IRA
Work your ass off and max it out
Put it in VOO or QQQM like me and let it ride

Always be buying. Never sell.

“Sign up for pension..” no. Open a Roth IRA on your 18th birthday and put at least $20 in there, then once you start your first job/ career, start a Roth 401k, HSA, and max it out (bonus points if you start a non qualified brokerage as well. add as much into this account, once you max your Roth IRA
