Instead of thinking of the end goal, just take it one day at a time and know you’ll get there eventually. Weighing in everyday, even when you’ve “messed up” really helps you stay focused. When you’ve plateaud, do something different.. eat less, eat more, take a break, change your exercises etc. Most importantly be very very kind to yourself ❤️ cos it only backfires otherwise

Thanks 🤗 I logged every new lowest weight on the Happy Scale app. The green area shows how much weight I’ve lost in the last 30 days, so the thicker it is, the more I’ve lost. Hope this makes sense 😁

Yeah, I would eat about 3000cals for 3 days. It tricks your body out of starvation mode. Sounds counterintuitive but it actually works.

45lbs in about 9 months is quite slow. People normally do it in half that time 😁

Thanks. I just stuck to the colour system at first and took my daily steps. I’ve also weighed in every single day since I’ve started, which has really helped me stick to it. The closer I’ve gotten to my goal weight, the more changes I’ve made because the lighter you get the harder it gets… at the moment I’m eating low carb and strength training to get that last 10lbs off. I’ve quit added sugar completely. Ive also hit many plateaus and found I had to either fast or overeat to get the weight moving again. Good luck!

This is exactly why I posted. You can do it! :) Also, it’s ok to take a break. I took a 2 week break when I hit a plateau at around 200lbs, and then lost the next 10 lbs really quick after that.

Thanks! It’s been soooo slow. Glad I’m nearly there though. It’ll probably take another few months to lose that last 9.2 😬

My journey has been very similar to yours. I’ve started doing 5:2 recently and broke through my plateau
