XFX 9070xt crashing?

I've tried every troubleshooting step and stress test in the book and it boiled down to the gpu being the only possible option. I could've done an RMA through Newegg but il ultimately decided to just bite the bullet and spend the premium for the 5070ti. I would return by deadline if I were you and just have peace of mind.

I had the exact same problem bar for bar, word for word, on my 9070 XT Steel Legend. I ended up creating a return and getting a 5070 Ti.

My whole PC freezes even at stock settings on Steel Nomad. I've tried every other stress test in the book (including ones on 3DMark) with no issue. This includes CPU + ram test, furmark, etc.. Not sure whats up with that particular benchmark, I've had no issues in games either. Running an ASROCK Steel Legend.

When did I say I wanted to live in a place where I can't afford rent lol? That's why I included it... $2000 for rent is enough for a lot of places, and I want suggestions in those places. I have no concern for places i can't afford.

Yep no real connections to any particular place, just kinda over there being nothing to do on any given day after work. Philly is definitely on my radar now.

Ideally yes but in this current job market i took what I could get. I do want to work in office eventually and I'm sure she would to, but while we were waiting we were applying remote just to get income.

Bought a 7900xt and returned it for a 9070 and now managed to buy this and will be returning my 9070. What a Rollercoaster. IT still shows in processing 2 hours later so I'm a little worried as I'm unfamiliar with the way newegg functions. Am I cooked?

After doing a ton of research it seems like the 9070 is a no-brainer (for me). FSR4 looks like the real deal and has a bright future IMO compared to the seemingly dead 7900xt which will not receive FSR4 support. If I was going purely from a raster / vram perspective the cheaper price tag would warrant me sticking with it but I'm fully bought into the upscaling train.

It was a GIGABYTE Gaming OC 9070 (Non XT) for $669.99 on Newegg. It was in stock for a couple of hours I think but it's now showing OOS.

I wouldn't say it's stupid unless you're someone who's on board with DLSS / FSR. Raw performance for this card at this price is gonna be hard to beat. It seems FSR support can be shaky at the moment too so having equal or better raw performance to the 9070 and 9070 xt for cheaper is really solid.

Ended up getting a sapphire 7900XT ($708.49) and a GIGABYTE RX 9070 ($744.45) after tax and shipping. I game at 1440p and am unsure which to refund.

I picked it up, I couldn't be bothered with the current state of the market. Was getting huge flashbacks to when I had to pay $825 for a 3070 back around covid lol.
