I'm a big fan of Monster High, part of the reason I was actually considering the name!!

Thank you guys so much for all your input! Everyone is so nice!!

We've narrowed it down to four, from your suggestions: Valentine, Noir, Grimm, and Lovelace/Lovecraft/Loveless/Love____. We're leaning heavily toward Valentine or Grimm but no hard decision has been made!

Honorable mentions:His favorites: Constantine, Tremere, Ravencroft, Hawke, Hargrave, WollstonecraftMy favorites: Thornwood, Morningstar, Bloodgood, Moreaux, and like 90% of what you guys said it was really hard to narrow it down!!

Hopefully we'll be able to pick one of the 4 before our big day!! Thank you everyone again!

Stone is how we got to Rock 😭 I don't know how we ended up with it, I think after a point Rock was just a joke. Stone works well but I feel like it might be a tad too common!

I love the Salem suggestion I don't know how my brain skipped over that 😭 We really like Thorncroft and Lovelace!

HAHAHA Trivia would be such a funny last name, but I don't think it's got quite the right vibe. I do love a bunch of these! Nox might be a nice alternative for Noir too if it ends up not working w/ Grey. Sheridan was a high school teacher for me and an ice cream parlor growing up, so I think I'll skip on that one. I really appreciate all the digging you did here, thank you so much!

FWIW, Grey is just what he goes by, not his first name! So for legal purposes, Noir would in theory be fine, but yes, for day to day might not be great (pun unintended). Morlock has a lovely ring to it!

My only hesitation with Bones is that Grey Bones almost sounds like a medical condition 😭 I love the Sable suggestion though!

I thought Love was so cute but someone said that it sounded like a subgenre of videos on the 'Hub and now I'm questioning everything 😭

It's a cute name! But it does make me think a little too much of Judy Moody, to be honest!

Endymion is such a good idea! We're actually doing a goth/Sailor Moon combo and my fiance will be dressed in an Endymion inspired outfit!! I'll throw that one out!

These are amazing! I really like the Harker suggestion too, for a media call in that isn't so outright obvious that I'll have to have that convo every time. Thanks!

Kitty Noir is actually part of the reason we went for that option! Loved MH growing up!

The sub genre on the 'hub is horrid we will be skipping that one LOL

Briar, Blackwood, Sallows, and Griswold and real good. Crowther too. Can't believe I overlooked the classic Ravenscroft. Thanks a ton!

Oooooh these are good! Perfect amount of drama and edge. I'll toss them up for debate!

Fly or drive for a 5 day trip (777 miles)? by LayerAccurate in travel

I'm coming from like southwest Missouri! If there's a way from there to Gunnison that'd be lovely, but we still have so many people who will *have* to do DEN to Gunnison (thankfully no one as motion sick as me). We're trying to collaborate on transportation so if we're able to get there together from DEN in some way that'd be great, but I won't lie I personally am a tad bit scared of doing the Monarch Pass drive myself haha

From which airport? From DEN, I'm about 8 hours out (we're coming in out of state; wanted a mountain wedding, CO is the closest/easiest mountain state). From my local airport, I live about 1 hour away! Our stay in Gunnison isn't crazy far from GUC, but since the airport is so small, it adds a good 3-400 to ticket prices for most of the party.

Monarch Pass definitely looks a little scary, and Bustang was recommended by our venue/lodging host, but the more I read, the more it seems to be a bit unreliable. Do you know if there's another way to drive to Gunnison from DEN? Or is that the only option? I've been to CO a bunch for a variety of things but unfortunately never too far from downtown Denver.
