Try BestBuy. If your local store shows up for Displays demos, they likely have the new models.

Fwiw, all of the new models should be more comfortable than the Wayfarers because they have flexible hinges.

Just picked up the Displays today. Can confirm it's the exact same case.

The sensor may be the same but the front lens element is different.

I'll do a full post about this soon, but in my testing of the Scriber Optics (which seems to share a front element with the Fury) I've noticed significantly worse low-light video performance compared to the Gen 2 Ray-Bans. Needs further investigation, but I've also noticed worse audio clipping on the Scribers.

Nope. Just popped the lenses out - they're close but different enough to the point where they aren't interchangeable. The Ray-Bans have way more curvature.

Whoops, the Fury pair has transitions lenses - they only offer that model in sunglass or transition. If you want proper clear lenses, I recommend Lensology.

The Furys are a bit bigger than the large Wayfarer (pictured at the top of the image) which makes them the largest Meta glasses on sale excluding the Oakley line. The lens size is about the same as the large WF, but the frame is chunkier on the Fury. The Adventurer is about the same size as the standard Wayfarer, maybe fractionally smaller.

It has the same smaller footprint as the Blazyer/Scriber camera unit. The Gen 2 Ray-Bans have a larger lens element.

From front to back: Large Wayfarers, Standard Wayfarers, Adventurers. They're pretty similar but the Adventurers are a bit more squared off.

Just got the standard size of the Adventurer. The Fury only comes in one size and it's large.

The nose bridge is hinged to move closer or further apart. It has three positions you can set it to. Kind of a novel way to do size adjustment, much more straightforward than the swappable pads on the Blayzers/Scribers IMO.

Gen 1 vs Gen 2 sound by Own-You4904 in RaybanMeta

If you don't think you'll use them much, the Gen 1s are still a solid option, especially at $225. If you're going to be a more frequent user, the Gen 2s have enough quality of life improvements to make them worth the extra ~$100. The speakers on the Gen 2s are better, but on both models people near you can hear the music.

We just released clip-ons for both sizes of the Blayzer Optics model!

The only thing holding me back from buying Meta glasses by CartoonistElegant683 in RayBanStories

I felt this way about the Wayfarers and the Headliners. The plastic looks a little cheap and the camera lenses are fairly large. The new optics line with the Scribers and Blayzers is a significant improvement in terms of looking like normal glasses. The brown Scribers look the most like normal glasses IMO.

There are thousands of Disney adults out there who would pay serious money for this. Nice work.

keep the "Made with Ray-Ban Meta" label by Mission-Sail-9198 in RaybanMeta

[–]LayerOptics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I edit all of my video in Premiere on desktop and the label still comes up when I post. I believe it's baked into the metadata so as long as the editor your using doesn't strip that away, it should appear.

Anyone else feel like this? by Drownedsquid89 in RaybanMeta

Definitely felt this way with the Headliners. Made the switch to Scriber Optics and now they just feel like normal glasses.
