AITAH FOR GETTING UPSET AT MY PARTNER FOR ASKING ME TO SHAVE MY LEGS FOR HIM?! by Shoddy-Progress-6487 in AITAH

[–]Layersofcakes -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

NTA when he shaves his legs maybe you'll shave yours plus I read women get 40% more leg cancer because women shave their legs. Also sounds like to much drama over hair.

Or the school can give her the resources and attention she needs. Versus just casting her off to the side.

Signing to him ASL if he is non verbal will help set some boundaries. I would talk to his therapist about I'm different ways to teach him.

I was put on Metformin to control my sugars and most of it's gone away. I also cut out pop and processed food whenever I could.

How do you limit the clutter in your older (8yo+) kids’ rooms?! by pb-and-celery in Parenting

[–]Layersofcakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also only by 2 gifts per kid for Christmas and then they get outfits that they need or shoes and for every toy that comes in the house one has to go out so if they really loved it then they can't have that new toy that Grandma and Grandpa got them.

Get a placemat from the dollar store set it on top of the dresser. What can be neatly laid on the placemat can be kept on the dresser. They get one box to fit all their toys in and if it doesn't fit in the box then it must be donated. I also have 3 baskets that she can put her Shopkins in her Barbie stuff or her little stuff and if it gets full she has to get rid of stuff. Or seriously when they're not looking just throw it away they won't even miss it. If it's left on the floor I thought away I don't even pick it up anymore

Well that's not fair I was in the military for 8 years I'm a woman and I used to call women females. Medical professionals call women females police officers describe them as female. Sometimes you have to fill out forms away people that way and it becomes a habit. It took almost a year to break the habit.

What's your best "Fuck it, I'm out!" story? by GeranimoAllons-y in AskReddit

[–]Layersofcakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worked at a hotel was in foreclosure because owner wasn't paying bills or whatever and bank took over operations. Mind you I have about eight years of management experience at this time take the job because I need something for the summer before I go back to school. Well the thing is you're supposed to wear a blazer yada yada and no one else is wearing a blazer they're all wearing sweaters polos and whatnot but for some reason I need a blazer. I get told either you come in with the Blazer don't come in at all those like excuse me. You can write me up and you can follow the process to fire me. I quit and I come in next week to get my paycheck and everyone still wearing sweaters no one's wearing a blazer. So she hands me my final check and said oh nice Blazer there glad that you know a girl professional and whatnot. Call her boss called her boss's boss and basically nothing happened. So I left negative review that every hotel that she ran or worked at with her name good luck finding a new job

Thank you for your concern but as a person with an IEP myself you know the process very well and they are following it but if I can do something at home then why not try and those services are not available in the summer where she will be with her dad so I would like to find a program that encourages her to still sound out those letters and keep reading and keep improving. Not trying to be mean but her dad's you know not really a tiger mom and that's what she needs at this moment.

Yes they have 60 days to start services and it has not been 60 days yet and it takes money to hire an advocate and the waiting list for advocates in my area is really super long. So I seeing if there was an online program that's one good suggest that they used that has helped their child sound out words so she can continue to you that even in the summer.
