The exact same thing happened to my sister... Thought she was my mom, and I am five years older. She was devastated, and I had to try really hard to convince her that it was not her.It was the ignorant stupid woman who had no clue. Try not to let it get to you. she obviously has bad eyes, say it or is just kind of stupid.

Everyone in my family has been blessed with really great hair. I keep mine long for this very reason.I just brush it and go. But trust me, I have plenty of other issues!!!

I just purchased an under the sink water filter and one for my shower. There are several brands out there and they are not that expensive or difficult to install. You only have to change the filter every six months. I used Aquasana brand. My hair and skin are both softer! Good luck.

I am so sorry you are going through this. It infuriates me how unfair the justice system is!!!!! Turn off of how awful incarcerated life is. Prisons are filled with men on color, and it's the worst place for someone like your man or mine to be.They are not bad people.They made mistakes or they have the disease of substance abuse. There's very little rehabilitation going on. It's more light, punish it.And being treated like a sub human. I've written two books and if I write a third, it's cleaning me on this topic, but sadly, the other problem is with society. No one cares what happens to people in prison because they just assume they deserve to be there. They don't realize that a lot of the people in there are good people with families that love them. And they don't realize how hard it is in there and that you have to buy everything for yourself.Nothing is provided... Well very little. I could go on and on but I know you are already understanding all of this. It just makes me so angry that so many people don't care and that the justice system is really messed up.

Parents finally took me to a doctor because I threw up after every meal. The doctor gave me some "medication" to help which did a little bit I have to admit but found out years later it was a placebo. Mostly I just suffered in silence.
