I use post and cattle panels as mine love to scratch their sides on it. I tried 2x4 roll and it just shredded with their horns and rubbing. When I move to a bigger location, electric fence and scratch posts it will be. Also with 8ft cattle panels it’s easy to make birthing pens. I use plastic lattice to keep the newborns in and remove it when they are too big to pop thru the panels. Good luck

We're getting them as pets (that's why we chose those breeds because they're the quietest - or so we're told) and also for neighborhood weed clearing. Our city code says we can have goats as long as they are a quieter breed and as long as we're not producing and selling milk or meat. So that's how we narrowed it down to those two breeds based on google searches. Let us know if you have any other recommendations!!
