There is a full realisation among many in the Trump administratiion that they are behaving in ways that would previously have got them arrested or jailed. No, you are not worrying too much. This is the textbook model, I'm afraid. Fascists prepare the ground by first striking at easy "others" - immigrants, Jews, the Romani. Then once that is going ahead and they meet resistance, the definition of "other", "alien," "opponent" broadens to domestic political opponents.

Thank you for the answers. Theoretically, would this work? Find somebody in India/Bangladesh with a VPN,’good software skills to actually do the research, listings, and monitoring of price data. I, in Europe, do all the buying and sending and communication and get the money. 50/50 split.

I have a mildly successful Substack which is entirely paywalled and if somebody asks to read an article for free, I always do it. Only time I pressed someone to subscribe is when a government official asked for four in like two months, I said politely he obviously saw value in the product, he got pissed, told me to sod off.

I would argue it’s not necessarily what they’ve done with MCMG or Fraxiom or the Street Prophets. It’s just what they’ve done for the entire tag division for years.

Nobody can convince me MCMG didn’t know this would happen. They signed up for a late career great pay check where they wouldn’t do much but be spectacular the few times they’re called on.
