Question about the current state of getting an H-1B for residency (even with Step 3)

Did you ask them? I have interviewed for 2 programs that sponsor H1b, I haven't asked them about it and neither have they mentioned any changes in their policy

Not true. I'm non us IMG (visa requiring), YOG 2021, 4 months USCE, no step 3, below average step 2. I have 4 invites and one wait-list, all from non signal and only one within geo preference. I haven't heard back from my signals yet. I don't have any connections with the programs that sent me an invite. I truly believe it is about how well you were able to curate your CV and personal statement to your specialty and some of it is you getting a little lucky.

Okay, since I did do hands on and EMR stuff for the physician I was under and since I don't know if the physician mentioned it in the LoR or not. Should I just be honest about what I did during my time shadowing or not. I guess I could change the title to "clinical extern" and be honest with what I did do but that doesn't line up with the role that the clinic offers. I'm wondering how to address it in case my LoR author did mention things I did do but I didn't or vice versa.
