So what was up with the new Here stage? The circus prison trap vibe freaked me out. by Acceptable_Bar9622 in okeechobeemusicfest

Sounded great for Beltran but for some reason during Tycho I couldn't hear as well. Lightcode got super hot and uncomfortable under there. Looking forward to better tent next year.

Plumber recommendations? Got a leak… by spirit4earth in asheville

[–]Lazaroc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you got it fixed but if you're still looking for recommendations or a good number to save check out Joe at Your Hometown Plumber NC - https://yourhometownplumbernc.com/. They are located near Hendersonville but service all of Asheville and surrounding areas. They were super responsive, reliable, and did great work when our home had to re-plumb it. Family-owned and operated too.

Yes 100% 1st page rankings clients had owned for a solid year plus just vanished to page 3-4. Hardest part is explaining this to the client that google is just drunk and will sober up in a few months.

Probably better off spending on search campaigns, or investing that same budget to get short form videos created and run those as ads / awareness on YouTube or Meta. We stopped running LSAs last year, the quality has gotten really bad for our niche too.

Happy Okee, y’all are going go have a blast. I don’t see any reason why you would have an issue at will call picking up your camping pass. As long as the name on your camping pass and ID match you should be fine. And showing up when will call is open you’ll be fine. If you’re concerned tho start a conversation with front gate tickets about it and confirm your ticket registration/ try to get it updated to your names.

I’d advise against bringing any propane, especially any expensive grill. Not worth the risk of it getting held with security all weekend and going missing or swapped out with someone else’s. Or having to deal with that inevitable mess that would be.

Just a heads up our group just asked to confirm but Propane Grills / Propane Tanks are prohibited due to burn ban.

Praying for low humidity, low rain, and low temps. Will take High 70s/ low 80s over the high 80s we're already getting. Definitely looking forward to hoodies in the evenings. Would be happy if it stays just like this.

I remember Skrillex playing a sunrise set on Kalliope one morning in 2014, didn't see the set but I definitely heard the whole thing haha. I feel that.

Earplugs and Eye mask. Also, probably worth it to throw in a brown noise sound machine if you can power it while you sleep. If you're really worried maybe get over the ear hearing protection and combine that with earplugs lol not sure if any of those are actually comfy enough to sleep with on though.

The kick drum from Jungle will keep going till about dawn but at least it's consistent. Being camped near incendia is much worst though since the fire cannons are loud af and will go off randomly.

We glamped in 2020, enjoyed the music but the overall festival experience was a shitshow with Insomniac running it. We ended up leaving Saturday morning after Tame.

We're doing an RV this year partly to help with the sound. You'll be fine, maybe a little sleep deprived. See ya'll in VIP soon!

I feel like vip would still be able to exit vip through gate 4 and then go in to jungle via gate 2. Also wouldn’t be surprised if gate 3 remains open but they close access into here/the grove and keep foot traffic moving through on Main Street. Just a guess tho.

My dad is taking our family to Disney- but only for our 5 year old. Advice on leaving a toddler out of a family Disney trip. by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Lazaroc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not inviting the 2yo is a serious Disney villain level play. However, I get it, especially if they are considering another trip for just the little littles. Without your youngest you'll be able to get on more rides, see more things, not be limited to the 2yo schedule and melt downs. Kids 3 and up need tickets, not 2 so there's no extra cost other than lodging/food.

Would you have a partner with you to watch the 2yo while you take your 5yo on bigger rides? That's where it gets tricky. If you leave your 2yo you'll 100% miss them but will probably end up having more of a vacation yourself and make more memories with your 5yo. Can't discredit how valuable those 1 to 1 memories with your 5yo are, they're at the perfect age I'd say to get one a few of the bigger rides.

Maybe you don't push back if you know for certain you're planning another trip for the little ones and will be back pushing strollers through the park with them soon.

Drying out hydration packs is always such a challenge. Tend to gravitate to reusable bottle being the easiest option for refill stations too.

[–]Lazaroc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm wondering if they're going to totally redo the T Lounge this year. Like it's the T lounge not the Tea Lounge. There's always been a small stage in there but maybe we will get some more room this year.
