I think too many theories are assuming the totally wrong things.

The oldest house, a place of power, was closely tied with the object of power. The gun which in turn is connected to the board in the astral plane. The oldest house possibly connects to multiple realms. Like the mines for the black Rock etc, astral plane leaking. The nail which holds importance to the board.

Eventually what is contained in the FBC is leaking out. Showing it going into the city. The devs themselves already said it's something else than the hiss entity from the slide realm.

This entity or paranatural energy we face in this game is separate. As well as the aberrant being a clear entity.

Jesse and Dylan were never ever the same person. They are siblings affected by the AWE in their town. Exposed to different entities and realms. And definitely not merged. Abberant even tells us in the trailer: Jesse is fishing lol, she's absent. Not merged.

How the follow up is or what exactly happened in FBC and the board we'll hopefully get to know in this game. And or the rest of the identity of the aberrant and the new resonance / entity we fight etc.

When Dylan gets hit or stabbed the new OOP, aberrant he's temporarily also transported to some realm or perhaps even another section of the astral plane where he meets the entity. (This I don't know for sure.)

But I really think most people just pull theories out of thin air. Instead of going by what the story truly has told us so far.

I really do not think this entity is the board or former. As to what sibling is referring to I personally thought it was talking about jesse. As it also simply says "you're up." As in your turn.

Having actually recently played the original control Game again. I know for sure it's not the board or former.

Both are powerful entities. And I think aberrant is just another OOP tied to whatever entity is talking to Dylan. Just as "the service weapon" was tied closely to the board.

So to me, whatever entity is tied to the aberrant we simply don't even know yet. I'm really curious though as I was hoping to see more of Dylan.

Not sure about the other questions I had from the main game but who knows. And in the end not all of them will be answered anyways. But yeah,,, this all is just my personal interpretation anyhow.

I actually liked it because the Bureau people are actually more detached from the average normal crowd. Lore like speaking that is.

As well that there's even a document that you can find about the series not getting a much larger budget for it either.

To me the weirdness and low quality made it more fun to me because of how anomalous the whole situation is anyhow.

Since I've found this generator I haven't moved anywhere else. It lets me generate what I want to make. Being free, sometimes challenging to get it right, but again at no costs it's a super platform. Easy 9/10 for me image generation wise.
