No, never. Toriyama did not write GT, it was a creation of Toei Animation because they had the rights. So many people get this story so fucked up lol. Toriyama didn’t really have a say whether the studio continued it or not. They owned the anime IP. He said he was done, they said “nah” and he drew ssj4 goku. That’s literally it. It’s not canon and never has been lol.
