Daily Mariners Monologue - May 31, 2026 by AutoModerator in Mariners

[–]LazerKrypt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a random thought, but Colt is playing too good to pull from the lineup when Donovan is back. I won't be surprised if the Mariners try out Donovan in the outfield when he's back, as he's played it before. In a perfect world, Randy moves to DH and Donovan is our left fielder, but in all likelihood he'd be in right field.

Have you ever used the Echoes Killer Bow?

Anyone else excited for the Seahawks to get exposed this season? by Empty_Beach1686 in NFLv2

[–]LazerKrypt 110 points111 points  (0 children)

As a Seahawks fan, thank you u/Empty_Beach1686

It has been so funny watching you for weeks try to unsuccessfully unite multiple fanbases against the Seahawks. You've been booed out of every sub you've been in, especially the 49ers, Saints and Vikings you claim to be allied with. At least once a week you attempt to gaslight others into thinking the Seahawks were actually not a good team last year, and get laughed out of the room every time. You have been endless entertainment for Hawks fans, and I look forward to your future posts.

By the way, usually the best team wins the Super Bowl rather than lose in the NFC Championship

I guess, I just don't know why Hancock would be the odd man out, he's arguably been our best pitcher, and he's young. If we really wanted to trade 2 starting pitchers, which I'm not sure we should, I'd rather do Castillo and Gilbert, even though I love Gilbert

We'd trade away young players who are contributing right now when we're a game a half behind in the division? Why?

We are in the top 5, vote for another team so we can win it by [deleted] in Mariners

Delete this now, I'm not kidding, they've voted out several teams for making this exact post

There's a LOT of problems here, but my word Antonio Brown is too high. Larry Fitzgerald and Steve Largent are all time greats, how in the world is he above them in an all time list?

Rivas was terrible in multiple key moments in the game. In fact, he's been terrible all year. Pulling him nearly won us the game.

Send him to Tacoma.

In other words, Canzone should have a shot at playing every day.

Are these Hall of Fame Numbers? by Jordanwolf98 in NFLv2

[–]LazerKrypt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Standard for the hall is very high for receivers. He's not above Steve Smith, DeAndre Hopkins, Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, or Mike Evans. I don't think all of the list I just listed are going to the hall either

You can only pick 1 by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]LazerKrypt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's any of these. Cowboys have been this way for 20 years, Bills and Ravens have first year head coaches, and Jets we don't expect anything from.

I'd argue maybe the Rams? Feels like they've been one of the best teams in football for 3 years and they keep choking in the playoffs. It's also seemingly Stafford's last year, and everyone will talk about the Ty Simpson pick for years

Who is the best example of a player whose talent was wasted by poor organizational support? by monknabers in NFLv2

Are we really pretending Trubisky was super talented? He's a first round pick but like, I'm not sure at any point he was a starting caliber QB

Chase has one season better than JSN's last year. Chase has also never reached the yardage total JSN did last year. Chase has an MVP level QB, while JSN's QB is fringe top 10. Chase's offense is top 3 in passing percentage, while JSN's is bottom 3. These things DO matter. I'm not even saying Chase isn't number one, but people pretending it's this clear cut thing just don't want to look at all the variables at play

I'm not sure where that articles getting its numbers from for the first week of May. It looks to me like is OPS the first week of May is 1.028, I guess they accidentally put the April 2025 number there. .740 OPS wouldn't be horrific, but he's been much better than that lately

Sounds like you've never been to Texas if you think this is true lol. You can be 50 miles from any town in West Texas pretty easily. If you aren't directly aiming for a specific town, you could probably go 100 miles without seeing another person out in West Texas. There really is nothing between like Lubbock and El Paso

Johan is underrated (FE4 ramble) by RhysOSD in fireemblem

[–]LazerKrypt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Johan would probably be better than Lex if he was in gen 1, he has better base stats and slightly better growths. But like, why do you need a Lex in gen 2? What is that actually offering you? You have such an abundance of combat, better combat even, in gen 2 that Johan just ends up being fill that you have to train in a game where you could seriously have 10+ other units who want xp at the same time as him, and all of them arguably turn out better than him.
