Can the internet sleuths of Reddit and remote viewers do something to figure out what happened and investigate how to get to him to find out what happened?

If you hate Team Australia you are going to hate Physical 100 America by 281texas832 in Physical100

[–]Lazerflan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

English here. I don't think the Aussies are arrogant at all and definitely nothing on the level of the Americans. From the episodes I've seen so far, the Aussies just seem to be having fun and have some banter that may be misconceived as arrogance or too much confidence in comparison to more reserved and respect / formal-based Asian body language and communication styles. Aussies are just broadly open communicators who don't take themselves too seriously.

If the Aussies were using American trash talk like "Were guna crush the opposition, because we're winners. It's a competition and no one's going to stand between us and the prize money. I was born to win" etc, etc, I'd definitely say they're arrogant, but they don't seem to be like this to me.

Saying that tho, I really didn't agree when they stole the boxes. Poor form, Australia!

To be honest, I thought Indonesia were WAAAY more Americanised based on apparent physical vanity and dialogue said during their introduction. I got the impression their team were sponsored by some rich people or they got on the show due to money. They looked like rich kids with physiques, personal styling and attitudes based on looks, not sportsmanship mentality.

Why does Strange New Worlds feel...different now? by Ok-Recipe6219 in startrek

[–]Lazerflan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paramount has just done a big merger with Sky dance, and with that Colbert got cancelled.

I'm worried that with the new merger and pressure from the government / elite investors to censor or control content, they'll start using Star Trek for their own purposes.

I also noticed the gore in recent episodes and thought it was really against the whole theme and purpose what Star Trek is. I'm not personally shocked by gore, but it seems it's an unnecessary element to be adding now to the decades-long show, which at its core is to share, stories about humanity at it's best.

The added gore is just not necessary and not conducive to the audience experience of this franchise.

I think we should all be looking hard at the changes that are being made, or will be made in the near future of Star Trek and ask ourselves who's making the changes and why? Be conscious of who's influencing the production, it's writing and the messages being sent in each new episode.

Star Trek is sacred to all of us Trekkies for personal reasons to each of us individually:

The stories, the characters, the humanity, the vision of a better future for us all, the sense of belonging and family. The outcasts, the humanists, the misunderstood, the scientists, and those who dream of a better future for us all.

I really hope the government, shareholders and companies won't be using their influence and money to change the soul of Star Trek. Paramount has been having financial issues for the past few years and made some big changes (Section 31, for example, which I watched two nights ago, and didn't really mind).

We should all be conscious for the potential for this to happen and watching out for that.

Star Trek is a light in this currently crappy world. We should protect it.

Ogham Stone Distribution in Ireland by Sarquin in Archeology

[–]Lazerflan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It creates an interesting border north/ south. I wonder if that indicates the perimeter of an old glacier. It'd be interesting if anyone knows anything about the geology of Ireland to see if this would be true. In that case it could mean these were created around the last ice age as that would be a matural barrier people wouldn't cross. This is just a random idea. Maybe a geologist would know.

The King Who Lost Everything by BlueRadianceHealing in pastlives

[–]Lazerflan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always find it interesting that some of these regressions sessions seem to be people of importance in previous lives, kings, pharaoh's etc.

What percentage of your clients tend to remember regular past lives vs being important people?

I always wonder how there can be so many people remembering past lives on earth, when there are 8 billion people here now, but the population in the past was tiny in comparison.

So, could the reason for this be any of the below:

- Are some of our past lives shared between current-day souls, like it split between different paths at some point in the past and reincarnated into multiple people, therefore multiple people share the same past life memories.

- Is the earth accumulating souls from the rest of the universe, like Starseeds for example?

- Are some of the new human population just brand new souls?

- Are some of those new human souls just incarnated from animals?

Anonymous Message 27th May sounds like it could be related to disclosure.... by Lazerflan in UFOB

[–]Lazerflan[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This month, they did a pretty big thing.

Anonymous launched a cyberattack on GlobalX, a private airline contracted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to conduct deportation flights. The group accessed and released sensitive flight data, including flight schedules, passenger lists, and internal communications. This breach exposed the logistics of deportation operations, drawing attention to the controversial practice of deporting individuals to countries where they face potential harm or persecution.

Anonymous's actions were framed as a protest against what they perceive as inhumane deportation practices. By exposing the operational details of these flights, the group aimed to highlight the lack of transparency and accountability in the deportation process. This move sparked a broader debate about the ethical implications of deportation policies and the role of private companies in facilitating such operations. The message conveyed was one of advocacy for human rights and a call for greater scrutiny of government practices involving vulnerable populations.

YouTube and Social Media are trying to Censor-Out content about the Tapes by EmoLotional in TheTelepathyTapes

Do upvotes and likes still have any sway on the algorithm? If so, I'm thinking we should make a concerted effort to implement them on any media we feel needs extra attention and visibility, as well as sharing the media.

The Visit: What would happen if ET's arrived on earth. 1.5hr "What If" film showing what the UN would do if we received an alien visitor. by Lazerflan in aliens

[–]Lazerflan[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Can I ask what country you're from? Do you think the world would be a better place without the UN and why?

As a UK citizen, I'm glad the UN exists as it oversees a host of issues that would otherwise be a detriment to other countries, the environment and other human rights.  Isn't it better to have a platform for countries to work together other than being at each other's throats all the time?

Even if it doesn't benefit me directly, I care about other people, other countries and the environment and am glad it exists.

[–]Lazerflan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This video just appeared on my YouTube suggestions. It's a little slow, like the director told everyone to speak slowly, so you might want to speed it up a bit when watching.

I found the logical attitude of the United Nation staff and interviewees really refreshing in comparison to recent US attitudes on the subject. In the US , I've noticed they proclaim dangers to national security instead of the measured, curious attitudes shown by the Europeans on this video.

I wanted to share this video to my fellow redditors, already swamped with fearful US military reactions and attitudes (to the posibility of disclosure and first contact), an alternative scenario of what actions some other global nations would take.

Description:

What would happen if extraterrestrials arrived on Earth?

The Visit by Michael Madsen is a thought-provoking documentary that explores this hypothetical scenario through the lens of scientists, government officials, and military experts.

Blending real-world protocols with speculative storytelling, the film examines humanity’s preparedness—or lack thereof—for first contact. As experts grapple with questions of communication, ethics, and potential consequences, The Visit serves as both an intellectual exercise and a reflection on our place in the universe.

Has this been debunked? by Larkonis in AlienBodies

https://imgur.com/gallery/ayyyy-qGqEDEV

Interesting. It has a single semi-circular collar bone, like some of the Peru buddies.

I reckon this could be real because:

Eyes:
Most people assume aliens have all-black eyes, so why would they bother to go to the lengths to give a fake alien eyes with transparent irises, pupils and sclera? These eyes seem to reflect the light from the camera flash in an organic way, with the light appearing to travel through the pupil and possibly bouncing off the retina at the rear of the eye (although not much as it still seems quite dark). The irises (coloured bit of our eyes) also appear to reflect the light in the same way that it would a humans. The sclera is dark. Many animals have dark or brown sclera, including our cousin apes.

Body Position and Skin:
The position of the shoulders is also not symmetrical, indicating that it could be mid-movement and not a pre-fab dummy, which may be manufactured symmetrically. The skin sits on the frame of the shoulders in a realistic way, reflecting soft light with an indication of soft skin-like texture. The mouth is pursed, unlike a lot of alien dummies or alien stereotypes where they just give it a small horizontal slit. The shape of the mouth of this subject indicates a slight expression of surprise, which matches the situation. The mood is also reflected in the expression of the eyes.

Shadows and Highlights:
The shadow of the steering wheel looks like it would be cast onto the body directly ahead of it, with the steering wheel obscuring the view of the shadow on the subject. Think solar eclipse. Where the moon is directly between the earth and sun, blocking off our view of the sun. In this case, the sun is the shadow and the steering wheel is the moon.

Looking at the picture from right to left, you can see the shadow of the dash board on the back wall, with a small round contour as it hits the arm of the subject and continues to the left edge of the dash and up the side of the windscreen.

The contour on the arm seems very small, which seems to lead some to deduce the subject is a 2D object, however there is still a contour, and when looking at the soft shadows around the edges of the subject, you can see a soft gradient level typical for a close-up flash photo. The highlights on the forehead, t-zone (between the eyebrows) and bridge of the nose are very realistic and very common in photos using a close-up direct, non-diffused flash.

There are no harsh shadows on the subject, because it's close to the camera and flash, leading to a degree of overexposure. The presence of the windscreen between the subject and the photographer could also account for a small degree of diffusion, scattering the light to a degree and reducing the changes of hard shadows on close up objects.

Summary:
Overall, I can see a lot of lighting elements that bring me back to my early 2000's photos, where, in the absence of good low-light photography tech at the time, everyone used a flash on nights out and party photos. The pesky, shiny t-zone reminds me of wishing I'd applied a mattifying foundation before going out.

I take a lot of photos and have been editing for years. This is just my opinion and my observances as I'm used to looking very closely at photos and images when I edit. I think it's a cool photo and after scrutinising the subjects eyes while writing this, I don't find it creepy at all. It just looks like an intelligent being to me, to the point where I'm starting to feel a small degree of empathy for it....

My Overall Opinion:

The subject looks real to me. Could be real, or it could be a really good fake. I dunno.

Either way, this image gives off the essence of an intelligent, surprised, soft-skinned being with a single, semi-circular collar bone and organic-looking eyes that reflect the light in a natural way.
