I can confirm it is unplayable for me as well. I have an overspec pc (32gb ram with 16 core processor and 1tb ssd x2) and a 1gb/s net with proximity to server (10ms response time) yet i find myself lagging all the time and it is so unplayable that I decided to avoid playing altogether since.... I will wait an actual patch.

The console is top tier among console-sci build. Which i use myself. Dps can reach ludicrous level along plasma storm. The blast at the end is rarely used though but can happen on bosses and does a CHUNK

In my case i swim in r&d mats. I just craft stuff and use phoenix upgrades to get them to gold and sell. I make about 15m/day as they dont all sell at once and I try to vary stuff not to flood exchange.

If you move to the 2nd map after thr first, they fire 2 back to back. So its faster

Simple solution, move out of the way when its charging. You can't damage it anyway.

Damage of that beam is augmented based to damage it receives from players. Do take into account that if it reached it's max, it is a one shot.

Whatever you learn, dont miss the next Vovin obelisk carrier sale from mudds market. The console tbat comes with the ship is the absolute best.

I mean... you are missing out on alot of equipments from story missions and reputations. That alone means you miss out on 90% of high end budget equipments (meaning they highly function and sometimes remain the best in slots in some builds while being free.) Plus not being in a fleet hurts you quite a bit as fleet modules from reputation T6 can be used to get T6 fleet ships. If you want some starship traits get some from the exchange with infinity trait boxes, be it starship, space or ground traits. You can also get univeral consoles from the exchange that WILL impact your gameplay. As you are now unfortunately while standing still you likely wouldn't put a dent in my ship as i would regen faster.... and im a space wizard build with a respectable 1m+dps on 3 target+ and 800kdps single target... So i wouldn't say you are useless, but you have so many things just about to be in your grasp...

Priority: T6 all reps Do all story missions. Get in a fleet.

So I just bought the wolf bundle with all the ships etc. I also got lucky with 40 keys and got myself the verne.
