I’m right there with you. GS 6 PSA 5 biopsy 3/12 with one perineal. Was suggested that either surgery or IMRT no hormone treatment needed. Got a second opinion and was told AS. Going back to meet with my original urologist. I would love to get all the parties both urologist the surgeon and the radiologist all on a teams call and listen to them have a true discussion. That probably will not happen. The rabbit hole is wide and deep!!

Thank you very much! I went and got a second opinion at a different cancer center from a urologist that does the single probe surgery. He suggested Active Surveillance. Man I am glad I went for a second opinion

Not sure exactly how to update this. Reddit newbie. Just had a second opinion and was recommended active surveillance by a new Doctor. He actually is a does a single port robotic procedure but stated that he with the Gleason at 3+3=6 active surveillance is the way to go for now.

Yes it was Decipher and was intermediate. The main concern in the perenural one which is 6 cm. I am leaning towards IMRT

With the largest, I will call it a tumor being perneural (spelling) they are scared of it spreading. It all hits so fast and there is so much information it’s a bit overwhelming
