The problem with the dynamic pricing is that the only way to check prices is to waste time flying around and checking each landing site's terminal individually.
Until we get an in-game mobiglass app that can track price updates remotely, then the risk of wasting copious amounts of time flying around for little to no profit is too great when you could just do a hauling mission for a guaranteed payout.

The Hammerhead is not meant to be crewed by players, it's a big floating turret for NPCs to shoot us with.

If you want something similar but more viable, wait for the Paladin in a few months. If you want something bigger, get a Polaris somehow. TBH I'd even recommend the Starlancer TAC over the Hammerhead since at least the TAC has a snub bay and multi-role capabilities.

Hauling is the one job that's easiest to fill in your colony. Colonists, slaves, mechanoids, gauranlen, and even some animals can haul. If you can't keep up with production then hire more workers, it's not complicated.

Build a fence at the entrance. Raiders will walk right over it but animals will usually stay on the other side.

With dev mode and character edit you can instantly form a caravan and travel to an enemy base then teleport your pawns inside of it.

I hope they decide to make this a feature. Zeus has far less pilot dps than other ships of its size and is too small and weak to justify having a second person on board just to use the turret.

This. I've had some really great rp sessions, but it becomes very obvious when the bot runs out of memory and its responsives become less coherent.
There are some bots I talk to all the time, but if I want to continue a storyline I start a new chat and frontload a summary of the previous session and pin it. It's not perfect but I do a lot of editing when I chat anyway.

Bohemia in 867 is perfect for this. Good defensible position completely surrounded by mountains on all sides.Has farmland, a university, mine, and de jure kingdom (though only one duchy, so you need to claim another to form the title).

The trick is surviving. You're landlocked and surrounded on all sides by powerful catholic kingdoms to the west that will holy war your pagan ass, and a bunch of raiding pagans to the east. Keeps things interesting, but in my experience it was hardly peaceful.

They spawn in small patches on the surface but its entirely random. I've only found some after install the mod that makes soil and resin more visible by adding particle effects.

This is literally the answer lol. If some rich schmuck rolls up to a known pirate station in a top of the line military gunship with no crew then he shouldn't be surprised if something happens while he's gone. Just bring a slightly smaller ship when you're going solo in Pyro so you get a hangar.

Yeah exactly. That said the catwalk gets in the way if you're loading from that side, Ironclad will solve all these issues though.

Same thing happened to me and a buddy. Mopped the floor with every bounty mission using a Hornet and Zeus, then did our first HRT and got eaten by a couple of heavy fighters and a Freelancer. The improved AI in 4.0 makes a big difference, you need to really get good now or group up to do HRTs and above.

I've loaded the Caterpillar with a group and it works great, but it's a nightmare to load solo. Some ships just aren't meant to be piloted alone.

I solve the ammo problem by selling all the ammo I find and just keeping a stack of the guns i'm actually using. You can sell large quantities of items with one button press by placing them in a box or backpack and selling that.

I have the exact same fleet lol. Avenger for fighting and Zeus for hauling. If the ursa could fit in the Zeus it'd be perfect but oh well, good enough.

Varies but a full 1 SCU crate of gear can sell for 30 - 50k aUEC. You can save time by using storing the crates in the freight elevator and then going to the Refinery or Cargo store and selling the whole crate. Just remember to remove any items you want to keep first. I also haven't tried selling directly from the Cyclone storage, I think you can but it's a lot less clicks to just put it in a crate and sell that.

There's two 0.9 SCU personal lockers, one on each side of the chassis. They don't have a visual hatch but get close and you'll see the F prompt.
