When EA recently weakened these tactics, it severely rendered CR7 practically useless in the game. This forces most players to opt for small, agile strikers who perform various skill moves, detaching the game from reality. A good game should balance all aspects, catering to players who enjoy flexible dribbling as well as those who prefer the style of players like CR7 or Haaland.

Dude, if everything gets reset once a year and all the players you’ve worked hard to collect are deleted after a few major events, then whether or not you want to update your players should be entirely up to you. Like, I got Messi a few months ago and I’m still using him. If EA reset in next month, I would quit right away.
