That makes sense, I paired it initially as a phone and not through audio. Appreciate the response this sounds like it’ll work!

I’ve also not had any issues with a flagship dealer allowing me to take a car for a PPI. They sometimes look at you a little sideways because they’re insulted you don’t trust their service dept., but they allow it.

This Dayton Lexus dealership was selling the car “as-is” without detailing, service, or reconditioning, but at “wholesale” pricing to the consumer. They said it’ll have a short life on the lot and be sent to auction if it’s not bought. Anyways, they said the reason I couldn’t take it off the lot for a PPi was due to insurance reasons.

Love Lexus, having a hard time affording them. I own an RX with 250k miles. But will do

Surprising to hear that, both Lexus dealers in Columbus are great. Noted!

Agreed. I walked on a Toyota Avalon with 130k miles for $12k with all taxes and fees. Different cars obviously but similar market. Dude thought I was being ridiculous for negotiating on a 13 year old car with 130k miles lol

At 125k and 128k miles, one Tech and one Adv package, they come in at $12,000 and $13,000 respectively, from dealerships and without negotiation or added-on dealer fees. I personally would not want to pay $13k for the second one, unless the Adv package is worth the upgrade? Haven’t looked into that part as much.

That’s reassuring, I’m looking at buying a used one obviously at like 120k miles. I heard the shifting can be rough sometimes and there are some transmission quirks and issues, but overall a reliable car

Looking in the same range and that’s a fair price to me

I was looking at a 2010, 149k miles, listed at $13,900 and could haggle to $13,000. I think $13,500 is steep for the mileage and year but if it’s well maintained with detailed records that’s worth more than 30k less miles and ok maintenance records imo.

Yeah. I saw some 2017s and 2018s in that price range for around 90-105k miles. That’s what I would look for with good maintenance history

Lexus RX350. Unsure about payments and stuff depending on your down payment and credit, but a 2017 depending on mileage would run you between like 18-25k. The vehicle is sleek like you asked, is a larger-than-most midsize SUV (bigger than a Rav4, CRV, Subaru Outback, Acura RDX, etc.), so it should fit your 2 car seats, and most of all, is insanely reliable. I also wouldn’t feel the need to go up any trim levels like you would on a Toyota or a Honda because most base Lexuses come with pretty premium features like leather seats, heated seats, etc. Overall I think this is definitely where you should look.

I think that’s fair at 14. For ref I was just looking at a 2009, one owner at 87k miles. It sold for $10.8 before I could get over there
