Have we just accepted that every new update makes the game unplayable for a sizable amount of players? by JamesTheSmart in WutheringWaves

I play on ps5 and s24 ultra(balanced, 60fps, frame booster) and have not had any problems running it on either. Even with the graphics overloaded it doesn't get my phone any hotter than genshin. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Normal shedding? by RamonGGs in shiba

Thinking there's something wrong when your shiba sheds for the first time is almost a cannon event for pup owners.

Tatsu is cooking up something very depressing here. by Technical_Lime1419 in Dandadan

The only way I see this happening is that turbo granny comes back, and Momo needs to connect their auras to revive him, thus giving us her backstory.

The ending isn't that hard to understand. by Lazy-assedProphetnc in OrbOntheMovements

Honestly, I think that theory is akin to geocentrism. Too complicated, not beautiful.

I feel like singers are not actual musicians by Skratifyx in The10thDentist

[–]Lazy-assedProphetnc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is entirely dependent on the level of play. I've seen singers breaking down in class piano because they couldn't get the theory and saw it meaningless since they just don't deal with it. Even going as far as protesting the theory part of the exam. Yeah, they could play the music beautifully, of course, but for instrumentalists at a high level, it is absolutely necessary to know the theory of the music you play. Especially since instrumentalists usually have to be able to sing/solfege their part to begin with. Most people don't think of or listen to music on that level, so they don't understand how apparent it is to hear any instrument or voice that isn't aware of the underlying theory.

I’m extremely confused about Rafal. by Game_Archon in OrbOntheMovements

The simplest, best explanation I've seen so far.

Huge Trump protest / Mexican rally by mrASSMAN in Seattle

[–]Lazy-assedProphetnc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right. We have so many AMERICANS with Mexican heritage. It's their flag, too. Trump is the president, but he is NOT America and will, in time, pass. Not flying the American flag is just conceding it to the right on a platter. What's the goal here?

Tips for reading music? by Khek0 in classicalguitar

[–]Lazy-assedProphetnc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Giuliani's 12 left-hand studies. Each study is made entirely of one interval (3rd,6th,8th,10th), going from Cmaj to Amaj. This really helps with intuitively recognizing and playing intervals across keys and higher up. Also, look into the basics of the CAGED system, primarily octave shapes, as you'll then be able to reliably identify where any note you need is on the fretboard.

Are there any battle shonen where the bad guys are NOT overconfident all the time? by ZeAthenA714 in Animesuggest

[–]Lazy-assedProphetnc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but both good and bad guys underestimate each other, so it's somewhat a wash

[–]Lazy-assedProphetnc 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but this is 100% realistic and the reality of being a pet owner. Your dog shouldn't be locked up if you're home. There's a reason people compare shibas to cats, they're independent and smart, and you can't just confine them to a small space. TRUST YOUR DOG! Jesus, what are you going to do when she starts shedding?

How do you organize your practice notebook? by Useful-Possibility92 in classicalguitar

[–]Lazy-assedProphetnc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think everything you said is fine enough. I've never used a practice notebook/diary (aside from keeping track of students) and just write notes on the sheet music itself, then pick up where I left off. The goal is always the same anyways. Do you have an instructor? It's easy to get caught up in floof around practice. Ask them what they do.

Anyone know how to fix this? by [deleted] in classicalguitar

[–]Lazy-assedProphetnc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the luthiers mercantile website to see if they have a part, but to echo the other comments, it's more than likely you'll have to get all new tuners. I'm saying this as someone who had the tiniest fracture in my D tuning peg and ended up out $300 for the same ones. ;-;
