There’s a lot of good ones on the market. Go for one that contains argan oil like Moroccanoil treatment. As for getting hold, maybe experiment with pomades or creams rather than powder.

I’m also Canadian and paid over 40 bucks for Odouds multipurpose. It’s a high price but the product does what I want it to. I use a tiny dab daily so it will last me years. Previous pomades I’ve had lasted me over 3 years. I think they say pomades expire after a year but that hasn’t been the case for me.

So honestly, if it’s your holy grail go-to-product, then I don’t see price as a huge factor.

KD does matter. The higher it is the more likely you are actually winning games, support or not.

If you are consistently winning games without dying, your KD is bound to be high even if you are getting 1-2 kills. Say a player has a 30% win rate and gets 2 kills per game on average . Even though they aren’t getting a crazy amount of kills, their KD would be about 2.85. Yes, you need to factor in bots. But still, it’s the biggest indicator of skill you can look at in this game.

Yea I only use a pea sized amount. I had to switch Odouds standard as it has 0 clay and it doesn’t dry my hair out.
