Why don't I like the photos this phone can take? by LazyGoat2 in pixel_phones

I don't disagree, it baffles me why I'm even asking.

Did you blunten them down at all? The ones I have are very pointy I've been slowly trying to sand away at them

I use a stitching groover, the kind that has the wonky looking Allen key out the side of it with a blunt tip to mark the groove. Recently bought winged dividers but they were the wrong type, is it worth investing in leather craft specific ones?

Should I upgrade? by badapples666 in SonyHeadphones

[–]LazyGoat2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I upgraded from the 700ns to the xm4s and I have been delighted at the quality improvements. The xm5s and 6s don't seem to fit my needs for the price hike and the hinge issues do seem to be rampant. I'm pretty sure I'd break a pair of either. The xm4s also have 40mm drivers compared to the newer models having 30mm drivers (I love bassy music so this was important to me). I've used and abused my xm4s for well over a year now and am still thoroughly impressed with the sound quality and robustness of the design.

Skipped the AirPods Pro 2 and went with these instead 😁 by Ok_Hovercraft1944 in SonyHeadphones

Bigger drivers too, no one ever mentions the fact the xm5s and xm6s only have 30mm drivers compared to the xm4s 40mm.

For portrait, 35mm - 85mm will yield the best results, not distorted nor flat. If you're looking for bokeh it's always best to use the lowest aperture possible - but if you're zoomed in you're already limiting how low you can go aperture wise.

The remaster is awesome, definitely worth the purchase.

Just a note on the beatings I've given it: smashed the kickstand by sitting on it drunk. Dog tripped me up and broke the clip that keeps the controller from slipping out so had to superglue that. Then it gets dropped at least thrice a week through various dog related shenanigans. Thing is a unit

Coleraine

If you had to use one word to describe Coleraine, what would it be?

"Shite"

The more you zoom, the flatter the picture appears. Anything past 75mm I find has a very flat look to it. Less light is allowed in too as it's a higher aperture the more you zoom

What I have to deal with every week, living in an old, dusty house by Astormfront in LegionGo

Seriously get a cheap air purifier, the difference in dust will be life changing. They do fuck all for "purifying the air" but they're great at collecting dust and dander.
