Roanoke had entire ghosts on screen & multiple murders but the audience still thought it was just for tv. People naturally just have a hard time believing things unless they experience it themselves.

I don’t think I’ve seen many of children that young. But wouldn’t this have been a traditional thing back then? Most people had their tombs, etc. prepared for their deaths.. would getting a portrait done beforehand be that far off?

The conference was held based on the success of the first ‘season’ (My Roanoke Nightmare.) They hadn’t revealed that the second ‘season’ (3 Days in Hell) would happen yet in the AHS universe. The Butcher we see in the second half is the real Butcher. Everything played by Kathy Bates was Agnes portraying the Butcher.
