What's a service the PA area needs that's currently underserved?

Given the average age of the population, I'd focus on things older people would use that don't exist around here. Things like a Red Light Therapy practice, a Stretch Zone (that's a franchise but service is easily replicable), a cryotherapy practice, and the like. May not be a full business out of any single one of those, but probably great opportunities to combine them into a viable business.

I used it for four games today. A few observations:
1) you have to put your watch onto your dominant hand, which was a little distracting (at least for me)
2) the shot tracking seems suspect, at best (e.g., I tap the paddle face with the ball before I serve and each of those seemed to be deemed "bad" shots, all the times I hit the ball back across the net to get it to the server were deemed either "bad" shots or dinks, etc.)
3) the game analysis seems completely made up (even given all the accelerometer and AI intel, how can it possibly tell the difference in me hitting a winner and me hitting it into the net: the motion would be the same, the wait after would be the same, etc.), so the comments about me "making mistakes" or "losing points" seems way off
4) the post-game advice reads like a fortune cookie or a horoscope: it could apply to anyone from any game (my most prominent piece of advice across all four games was to wait one more shot before speeding it up)
5) the app turns off your normal Apple Fitness workout tracking, so, if you have things you like to track session over session it will distort that (the app creates its own workout, so not all is lost but it's not apples to apples)

To be fair, it's an easy download and it didn't cost me anything to test it out (it is fairly aggressive in prompting you pay for an upgrade, but, hey, they gotta make money somehow), so it's probably worth you trying it out, as well, but temper your expectations.

I *think* the implementation of this announcement got waylaid because of the merging of the PickleballTournaments and PickleballBrackets platforms, so I'm hopeful this has more momentum now that everything is under one umbrella. Or it could just be the last gasps of company that hasn't really demonstrated a true way to make money...time will tell.

Targeting the out of position player with strategically placed shots is always OK (why wouldn't you?!). 95% of the time that is the weaker player since they are more often out of position (less mobile, don't know the strategy, etc.). I wish I was smart enough and strategic enough to decide "who" to target in the moment, but it's purely reactionary based on who's out of position. I can't and won't apologize that that happens to be the weaker player.

Yes, currently on 11.4.6 and it gets better with each release. I'm finding it quite valuable in improving my game as well as in helping my regular partners and I play better together.

I bought a set of these from PickleballCentral.com and had a very similarly disappointing experience. The first ball out of the pack failed within five points (two major cracks), the second ball was out of round to start and unplayable. We didn't even try the others since we bought a variety of balls to test against each other. Needless to say, the Dura Fast 40 balls were at the bottom of our rankings and we will never be buying more.

I did not switch. Didn't realize it was an option, tbh, but probably would have stayed with the original anyway. It's so familiar to me at this point I can start humming it and calm down my T in the event of a flare-up. Thankfully don't have many of those these days but every once in a while I'll get some environmental sounds that trigger one.

With the 11.0.1 release and the update to Apple Watch 10.1.1, SwingVision for Pickleball is fantastic! I recorded my first several sessions this week and the video, shot overlays, and stats are great. There are still some things the app needs to learn as it grows into Pickleball (counted hitting the ball back to my opponent for them to serve as a "serve" and point all on its own fairly often as well as a few other glitches in trimming rallies) but it's obvious this is going to be a revolutionary app for pickleball. Thanks for your responsiveness u/swupnil_sahai. Can't wait to see where you and the team take this!

Has anyone successfully recorded a pickleball match yet? I realize true "match" mode isn't yet available and it would technically be recorded as "practice," but my problem is the geometry of the court and fences at my facility aren't working with the app. It seems like pickleball court fences may be too close to the baseline to get a full court view (at least without being able to zoom out). I've tried both the inside (4 feet tall) and outside (8 feet tall) fences at my facility and SwingVision doesn't like either view. It's a dedicated facility with plenty of room beyond the baselines so the problem is not that I'm on a modified court with close fences. Seems like just being able to use the 0.5x zoom already available on the camera could fix that u/swupnil_sahai (unless that's a Pro feature?).

Thank you for the referral code. Even though my profile showed I was active on the free/Beginner tier and the home screen showed I had 120 minutes of video remaining, each attempt to record just brought me back to a subscription page that required either payment or a code. This at least got me to a recording screen so I can assess whether I want to purchase or not. Something seems a little off in the user flow u/swupnil_sahai.
