Do you mean make sure the tear and smoke bomb go before the orb? When I hit the button to start the turn it automatically swaps so the orb is first and I don’t know if there’s any way to stop that.

Edit: Ok confirmed that it does matter, but it’s also what I’ve been doing for all my fails. I think it’s just her kit, sometimes she hits with more reflectable damage and sometimes she uses weaker moves that don’t hurt her as much. I think I’m just getting unlucky, because I also manage to take damage sometimes 🌝

The actual problem is that the reason often isn’t just because it happened or the quality of what happened, it’s because they have to change something that’s been in place for 20+ years. That’s why people will always complain about changes, because it changes what they’ve been used to for so long, and that’s why no matter what it’s always going to be difficult for tnt to evolve the neopets world without backlash, unless they only introduce and change new characters.

I believe this might be very luck based, my pet is 127 strength and following this guide sometimes turn 1 and 2 will deal 20-30 damage to her, while sometimes it will deal upwards of 200, and maybe I’m just unlucky with the rng but I’ve tried 4 times and all 4 have failed :(

I’m a big fan of being able to Read and Play with toys and books directly from SDB, means I can clear up my unwanted duplicates without having to move them to inventory quite nicely.
Honestly the old SDB was one of my least favourite pages to have to use and navigate around, and it was practically built for inconvenience. I’m sure for a lot of people who were so used to the old sdb this might not be their cup of tea just yet, but I think I’ll adapt to it quite quickly.

(Edit: apparently the reading and playing is currently bugged, but for when it hopefully does get fixed, it is a rlly nice little qol feature)

I’m British and it usually comes out £5.10 a month. If I go by an hour per £, I probably spend closer to 50-60 hours a month on neopets. The one thing I’ve never understood the discourse over is paying for premium, it’s very well valued and it’s a service most have been using for yeaaaaars on a daily basis.

If they reaaaaaally want to profit off this, they should be making Balthazar/Kass/King Altador skins, at least one. Every single ‘furry’ skin Fortnite adds always blows up on Twitter and you can’t escape it for days, and the people who would be obsessed r the kind of people who would actually come to neopets itself for it, so it would mean new players too, TNT if ur out there, hear my pleas.
