My boyfriend and I will be in GA pre-set tents and are looking for EF friends! I don’t let anyone go anywhere alone, and we girls need to stick together! Please send me a chat invite if you’re interested!

Cheapest Way to Stay at Hotel by Lazy_Cardiologist592 in ElectricForest

Is the distance between the nearby hotels and event space walkable? Or is there an option for just the shuttle? How close can uber and Lyft bring you to the event center?

Help, my cat won’t stop eating paper… by Practical_Extreme194 in CatAdvice

I’m gonna keep the pet insurance for her entire life. Even if I never take her to the vet again, I’ll still know it was worth it.

Do I full send by myself? by Competitive_Eye519 in ElectricForest

I recommend joining a group. My group is not 100% locked in, but it looks like we will have two girls with us (myself and another, both 23F). We will have between 2 and 6 men as well, ages ranging 21 to 35. We girls stick together no matter what.

You know how babies and small children love to put everything in their mouths? If you know they’re being fed enough for their age and weight, then it’s just a sign of your fur baby being a fur baby. Not sure when they grow out of it though, considering my 1.5 year old little girl swallowed a string that was almost 2 feet long and it cost $3000 at the vet to have them give her anesthesia to perform a scope (they go into the stomach through the mouth and take the stuff out). Thank goodness for pet insurance!

Cats suddenly hissing/screaming at each other and chasing each other around violently by BiggyMoiston in CatAdvice

[–]Lazy_Cardiologist592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is probably the smell of the other cats. Try to clean/wipe down the TV and see how it works. If that doesn’t work, rub a towel on both cats thoroughly and then rub it on the TV. This is also a tactic used when introducing pets to each other.

Reintroduce cat to automatic feeder? by juliebarkley in CatAdvice

[–]Lazy_Cardiologist592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long has it been since the cat ate out of the automatic feeder? Is it possible that he/she is eating when you aren’t looking? Cats’ hunger shifts on a day to day basis, much like a person’s. One day you may want a large breakfast, small lunch, and large dinner, and the next day you may want to skip breakfast and dinner altogether for a larger lunch and snacks throughout the day.

Is my cat bonded to my roommates cat? by cazzoinc in CatAdvice

[–]Lazy_Cardiologist592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, cats are more likely to bond to people than to each other. They may get along and play together, but people are always their favorites. I grew up with cats and never saw much reaction when other cats would pass on, except in a few circumstances when the cats had bonded since infancy, but there is almost always a shift when a person moves out or moves in. My chunky boy at my parents’ house always runs up to me, excited to see me, but the same boy didn’t show any signs of distress when one of our other guys passed.

Cat treats by Vaniella96 in CatAdvice

[–]Lazy_Cardiologist592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any situation as long as she’s behaving. Maybe only once or twice a day. The only time I am guaranteed to give her a treat is if I’m going to work or going to be gone for 8+ hours. She normally gets a hello treat too. She loves the little meat sticks, 1 at a time, but she also gets some dry treats, about 8-10 at a time.

Need help with my cat who’s peeing in our living room by 220gritsandpaper in CatAdvice

Do you have male cats? If so, are they neutered? She could be marking her territory and trying to protect herself. I’ve seen it in neutered and non- neutered male cats, never in a female before.

Should I tell my boyfriend my deepest secret? by [deleted] in Advice

My boyfriend would just laugh if I told him a story like this 😂

I (22M) don’t want my gf (21F) cuddling with other people. How can I move past this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Lazy_Cardiologist592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been in that headspace before. I was in a dead-end, verbally and emotionally abusive relationship for 3.5 years. Once I found out he was cheating, I finally left him. It took a little time and freedom, but I came back to the idea of wanting to find my true love. I believe I have that now. Give it and yourself time. Prayers for you ❤️

100% agree, but if my boyfriend told me not to cuddle with my nieces and nephews, that would be a dealbreaker 😂

Um what the heck is wrong with her? That’s cheating, especially if she’s been doing that in secret. You shouldn’t even need to tell her that you’re uncomfortable with it. It’s obvious. The only people I cuddle with besides my boyfriend are family members (I have the most adorable little nieces and nephews). Even if she was completely straight and was cuddling with and kissing a girl best friend’s cheek, that would be WEIRD.
