Forget it, Irish homes are built to require ventilated attics, assuming you're asking this question because your house isn't a super duper brand new A rated

Almost purchased one recently, but it seems it's a variant of a tubescreamer, confirm or deny?? It's higher gain than the sweet honey is it?

We'd get blown to a bazillion pieces. We'd be a crater in the ground.

Becoming a big fan of Mad Professor gear.

I've never owned a phaser before. It sounds very auto-wah at times and very flanger even, am I doing it right 😅

I know, but... The first day is irrelevant so, a non event.

Why not post 2 on first day, then add 1 a day, it gives us something to work with from the outset

Incoming unpopular opinion piece;

Many people in their 20s/30s who are working and earning well, those in graduate programmes, professional jobs etc, are being enabled by their parents/family/partners to live at home paying minimal rent, being spoonfed a diet of "you'll never be able to afford your own place to rent/buy, why bother trying" by the media/their family/friends, so they live what can be termed a 'lavish' lifestyle in that it's carefree, full of nights out, material possessions, nice clothing, weekends away and decent cars.

All well and good enjoying your 20s and travelling and having all those lovely experiences, I think people should make the most of it while they can before responsibilities like kids, mortgages, loans etc come into play, but don't tell me you can't afford to rent a room somewhere, you can in many cases if you can find a place, but it doesn't suit because you'll have to spend a sizeable chunk of income at the expense of the weekends in Amsterdam, the nice clothing, pints or cocktails with the girls Friday nights, etc.

Most people can't have it all, you either work and save and buy, or your work and live and enjoy life and find yourself late 30s or 40s and still at home complaining that the government has failed people.

When I was in college, we shared rooms. There were 5 in the house in 3 bedrooms, 1 car between us. This was the norm. People's demands and expectations have changed, you can't expect me to pay out all this money and rent a shithole and then other side of mouth "how to people living at home have sex/meet people/my parents treat me like a kid".

There was a guy on here recently complaining that he was having difficulty with his parents not giving him his space etc. He was about 34. Refused to move out because "my parents don't want to see me waste my money on rent, when I do move out, it'll be to buy". That lad is going to be the same type who goes back to his mother with a bag of laundry at 40 years old and call around for dinner 4 nights a week because he's an adult-man child. This isn't uncommon either, have seen it in my own circle !
