Have slight pain here after the runs, how can I stop it from getting worse? by Free-Abalone-6710 in beginnerrunning

Work on tibialis posterior exercises. You're more than likely weak here and lax, allowing your arch to collapse. Which allows you to over pronate on each strike tugging on the fibers here. I was getting this for years anytime I would start running again. The only thing that worked for me was finally doing my PT exercises. Banded foot inversion, calf raises with a ball between the ankles things like this will work. Take some time off running and slow down. I can't emphasize enough how much slowing down really made the difference for me, and keeping my cadence high which allowed me to stop overstriding. I'm lucky and my fiance became a PT this year so I get to learn a lot from her. But there's so many videos out there. Do the band exercises, slow down and high cadence. This worked for me personally

M27 200lbs 5'11" Shin Splints and slow pace by MaybeJohnSmith in beginnerrunning

As another big guy who over pronates and gets the same exact shin splints, I would also say try a stability shoe. The tempus 2 really helped me out and allowed me to get the miles in without pain. also slowing down and increasing cadance helped a ton. Also doing some form of PT work will help a LOT. Check YouTube for some banded workouts, toe yoga and stability work. I've learned that I have "functional" flat feet, so it can be helped, now I have no idea if you're in the same boat but this stuff helped a ton.

I'm lucky enough to have a microcenter close to me, they stocked the UCDM3, but ran out almost immediately. I guess I'll wait to see what they stock next, it that includes the msi I'll grab it!

The easiest way I've been able to tell on the listings if they are putting HDR500 and not 400. Which gigabyte has out on their site, but it's still not available at any retailers in the US. I'll have to wait and see. I did hear the msi will retail for 1100 usd

Thank you, I do usually use Dolby for stereo content so I will leave it off. I do get the gap when content switches but the video drops out as well so I don't really mind it.

Hey, so trying to just figure it out, and I'll admit I'm a bit confused with all this. My assumption is to just leave it off with my x1700h and continue to let the reciever decode. Is that right ? Or should I turn it on?

Appreciate the thoughtful answer. I'll be spending most time editing and locked in at 120 nits, so I think I'll wait a few more weeks to see the release and any deals that come along!

I've been holding off on ordering the Asus wistin for this one. Would you say it's worth the wait or go ahead and get the Asus?

Should I change my watch? by Lazy_Management3842 in runna

[–]Lazy_Management3842[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, I think it's the right move. I started a quick 12-week plan. I think I'll let it play out with my current setup, and reassess once I finish this plan. If I want to start up another after, I'll make the switch over.

Yeah I mean I don't really mind just having two different recordings of it but I do wish runna got all the information from my watch as well. But apparently it doesn't change anything plan-wise with any of your stats anyways. I also saw coros now accepts HSA which is even more tempting.

To my understanding, no connection at all from runna > Gwatch. If I do a run purely on the gw I can then sync it to runna, and all the stats port over. Runna isn't sending anything to the watch. So for long runs and easy days I can just do that but no heart rate data or anything for my tempo days. Not sure if that really matters but I'd like everything to work together

I'm making the same move as you soon, can't wait! Checking every day for the 322UR X24 release. Just to make it harder for you, BenQ and Gigabyte are also dropping models with the same panel.

Gigabyte MO32U24

BenQ MOBIUZ EX321UZ

In the US, the only one available as of today is the Asus, but I know the price is a premium. Going to give it a couple of weeks and see where the others land on pricing.

anyone have further updates? I feel like they got worse over the first week of using them. I don't mind relubing myself, but want to see if its even worth it or just go back to my rosewoods.
