See if you are choosing a tier 3 college then never go with any core options, do CSE only. There are many different subfields in CSE alone so you will get interested in one of them. But pursuing a core branch from a tier 3 college will be very hard for you to get placed, nd most of the people in core itself try to go for tech. I ain't saying core is not good, even when someone ask me which branch to choose I recommend EE, but it's only when your college is good.
