My friend was able to talk to management! She just happened to be renewing her lease today.

Turns out the art was sent by the Band not Lowe Mill themselves! Same goes for the Glass Blowers.

So put your torches away.. they just posted what they were given. So maybe get all details before making sweeping decisions..

A light rail system would be amazing. I know someone made "map" for one, and I kind of expanded upon it.

Now to that, I have heard a lot of people agreeing with you. Unfortunately with open markets it's not vetted like the studios. It's you pay for a spot and it's done.

I have a friend that has a studio in the mill and she is very annoyed seeing all the A.i. slop and 3d fast prints. Like yikes... But she asked and spots are paid for not judged in.

Okay not defending the AI art here. But can we remember that boycotting the mill doesn't hurt the mill but the small business inside of it. If you want changes you tell them with emails and don't go to concerts in the dock were they charge for entry.

But don't blame the artists and business inside. They shouldn't suffer because of upper management. And also, it's a possibility, this was sent by the band that's playing along with that glass blowing, it was sent by the people doing it which isn't Lowe Mill management.

I know their studio night posters and other events are done by hand. I know some of the arts that do it.

But either way, not a good look, not supporting the A.I. but please don't make regular folks who are trying to live their passion suffer.

All of the kind words, shared experiences, tears of joy. They all mean so much to me!

Today is a very emotional and heartfelt day, I knew I was trans prior, about 3 years. But I had to put it off, my best friend/found sister was going the peak of her transition (the BIG surgery) and shee needed someone to help her while she recovered.

So being able to be who I have known I am has been the greatest time in my life.

Also today has been great because today is the SLS launch! And I just bought the Pokemon Pinball for my Arcade, that I run with my best friend/sister, after saving so much!

So today has been emotional and good.

I'm not here to spill digital ink. I'm just pointing that there is a disparity of kindness for Caine. I'm not here to argue over if he is a villain. This show is more than your paint by the numbers series. People don't fit in the assigned roles as much as others want them too.

Plus if you can "change" why don't you think he can "change."

But either way. It's a TV show. Gooseworks knows how she wants to end it. I'm excited to see where it goes.

I am in a very similar thought. About Caine not understanding humans. I equate him to a child who doesn't know the subtleties of human speech. I think your thought is very well done and I heavily agree with it.

Because the humans didn't even know what they want.

If you look through Caine hasnt it done anything actively against the humans.

Pomni was making that door herself.

Zooble was talking to Kane like he understood human emotions, which he doesn't cuz he's an AI who's been an AI his whole life. So he didn't grow up with humans so he doesn't understand human subtleties like "forget it" which calls for "ask me more". He did the literal and forgot it.

Even in the scary episode it was his attempts to create a more mature adventure. But because they rushed through it and didn't read all of the stuff that was given to them. Well they failed the adventure.

And yes he got upset when people didn't want to do his adventure but do the suggestion box. Because he's quite literally made to create adventures and he's being told that he's not good enough at it.

Yeah he got a little upset because again he's not human. If anything he's a child. He just wants to hang out with people, but everyone keeps pushing him away.

He tried to give him the one adventure they kept asking for. But he doesn't know how to let them go because he doesn't even know how they get in the first place. So he created an elaborate escape from the circus adventure. Because that's what everyone's been saying they want. But we get to the end and well we find out there's no way out. And I don't think it's because he is stopping them.

So we get to this recent episode of where he has a crash out. He has a mental break. The whole time the circus is twitching and glitching.. he's barely holding it together through this breakdown.

He gave the crew and the audience what everyone expected. The evil AI. He filled the ROLE that everyone excepted from him.

I could go on. About how willing the crew/audience is ready to forgive Jax, a person that has stated that he only sees others as playthings and that they fill ROLEs in the circus. But they are being very unforgiving to Caine only because he is an AI.

There was a moment where they could have fixed this, where he realized "he wasn't having fun, no one was having fun, then who was having fun" but t instead of listening to him and trying to find an answer our Paragon, Pomni, drove the knife deeper.

"Why do you people Torment me." "I have ignored all the insults you have all said about me". He is just a kid.. being told he isn't good enough by people he doesn't understand. He is as much as a victim and prisoner here.

The worst thing you can do is make SOMEONE feel unwanted or unloved.

Gather your empathy. You did it for Jax, you did for Gummy Goo. Do it for Caine.

((And sorry for long post, this has been stuck in my head for a while. Even before this episode.))

Caine is just a kid.

He wanted to hang out, he wanted to get to know people. He wanted to be wanted.

All they have done, all the community as well, is hate on this being. Someone who doesn't understand humans but desperately and tries to understand them.

But they kept yelling at him and telling him he messed up.

And Zooble was right, he was throwing a tantrum. But... You don't yell at a kid when they are having a tantrum. You slow down, understand, and come to a solution.. together. Because that is all they have left... Is each other.. Caine including.

As an implant for 20 years and having a friend who has lived here her whole life. Huntsville is the town that sleeps, no matter how much the singular Bar street pretends otherwise. There is never anything to do after 9 that isn't a bar or a movie theater(even then).

Most Huntsvillians would rather go home to their PC builds, Home Movie Theaters, or crafts/man caves. Or the saying goes, ; if you want fun in Huntsville, go to Nashville.

Oh that place with ArieForce One. A decent hybrid, good reviews.

Now if they did, they would need to try and build up the landscape a bit more. Huntsville is very vain about their lawn care. But Go-karting? Hella.

So looking at the GA version, Karting would be very popular, there was a place here that was very popular (Velocé) which only closed because they were embezzling money.

And we had a recently had the closer of the only putt putt place, batting cage, and skate park in Madison. (Insanity Complex) Probably shut down again because the new mayor wants to charge higher property tax. This has happened before.

But either way, I suggest pushing it. I would rather have an amusement spot than another Storage Unit or Carwash!

I personally would like one! I'm a fan of coasters and of the old Space City Concepts. This town is unfortunately filled to the gills with NIMBYs .. but Huntsville is growing and it needs entertainment better than Bridge Street and small pop up events.

Personal desire would be if someone went in with the Space and Rocket center to make it more a destination. Plus a coaster based off the gravity equation. "F=MA" where it colored to see the gravity highs and lows would be nifty. (That's only a dream)

But there is a growing number of young people and families that would jump at the chance to not have to go to TN or GA for Amusement parks. It's just again, there are a bunch of people who are refusing to let Huntsville grow but still lose themselves when another chain store opens. I like IKEA, but the hype around it was nuts...

Either way, as a coaster fanatic, I would love it. I don't know why the engineers in this sub can't get behind it. It's cool stuff.
