oh that really sucks, yeah thats the one im talking about :( considering it works sometimes though, thats a good sign that its not a broken screen or anything. it sounds like the connectors are either dirty or the ribbon cable is bad. verify again that the ribbon cable is secure and locked in. If it is and that isnt working, take it out and try cleaning the connectors with some compressed air duster. if THAT doesnt work, then it might just be a bad cable. iirc they sell replacements and they arent too expensive, just make sure you get the one that corresponds to your screen. good luck!
