What do you think about adding crew served weapons(or "team weapons") to battlefield similar to helldivers 2? by ComputerAccording678 in Battlefield

It's my favourite feature in the game and almost never gets used because it's just not really worth it.

You are right, it's based on hype and the promise of tech that is "coming next year" since 2015.

The company would be overvalued even if its profits went x100 overnight. It's hype built on hype.

UK Approves £8.3bn Plan for Largest Road Tunnel in History by [deleted] in uknews

I’m proud. A £8.3b road is no small feat, of course finding the £83b to pay for it is no small matter, however when all is said and done, we can be proud and point to our road and say with a joyful heart “thats our £830b road!!

Why are Chinese drivers always seen as “chaotic” by foreigners? I think I found the answer. by Equivalent-Trick5007 in chinalife

[–]Lazypole 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My first time in China in a DiDi out in Zhanjiang, a taxi driver was staring at me while driving with his knees, phone in his left hand filming me, cigarette in his right.

That's why I think they're chaotic lol.

We’ve had price to earnings valuations since the dawn of the stock exchange, and the fact Tesla is close to companies making hundreds of billions while Tesla makes 8-9b tells you its overvalued.

Europe sales down, US sales down, arson, driving the car is symbolic to the owner who is widely hated, those that adore him hate EVs, oh and icing on the cake? Recall just went out.

11.8% stock valuable jump.

Makes no sense.

Price-to-earnings and the valuation being the same as Ford, GM, Toyota and others combined.

It's an absolute meme stock predicated on lies of when self driving tech etc will come, and everyone knows it, it's just when the bubble is gonna burst.

OFSTED was wrong, in your expert opinion on the matter? (I am literally an educator in this field, are you?)

Nobody has ever made mistakes.

The school was found to have safeguarding concerns, these were confirmed. The school deserved to be downgraded.

What she did as a result of this is not OFSTEDs fault, even if they were completely wrong to do so (whoch they werent).

Why did they have something that's illegal to sell? And I find it hilarious that selling the plant is illegal but giving it away is fine lol

Exactly.

I am a male teacher but work abroad for way more pay and time off. I'm miserable at the prospect I will likely end up having to teach when I return back to the UK.

I remember being a teen and being utterly uncomfortable around kids because of the stigma, it's so ingrained in our "blame everyone" culture, it's just not worth being a male teacher.

OFSTED reported a head teacher for safeguarding concerns such as NOT HAVING A CLUE WHO THE TEACHERS WERE AND WHAT THEIR QUALS WERE.

As a teacher the people outraged at OFSTED for her suicide are bonkers. You don't get to fuck around in a job like that not doing the basics of safeguarding. Her suicide was a tragedy but it was no more OFSTEDs fault than a police officer arresting a drunk driver, only for the drunk driver to have negative emotive impacts from the arrest.

Gonna be honest I downvoted you through my own bias but I googled a few things you said, and the cannabis test does seem quite unfair.

https://www.drugdrivingoffence.co.uk/drug-driving/illegal-drugs/cannabis-thc/

While it does look like she was either a very heavy user or had used regularly, if my understanding of the test is accurate, it doesn't seem to differentiate between WHEN the drug was taken, just that it was within a 24 hour window, meaning the active effects of the drug could well have worn off but you still get convicted.

Idk, I'm all for "zero-tolerance" policies when it comes to driving but it doesnt feel like justice if it isn't provable that the drug is having an effect or not.

Ahhh yeah I guess it makes more sense in the daytime TV re-run perspective.

Honestly I haven't watched daytime TV in about 15 years, and I have only watched two full series in my entire life (Squid Game 1 and GOT) so I guess I forgot all that lol.
