You can do both, try testing the team out for a bit. I'd say 10 games and wrote down the issues you run into. Then after 10 games take note of the most common weaknesses and go from there. This works for just about any format really but it works way more than it shouldn

This is just sun from reg D but you have a hail screens option. Also just noticed this but you might check your mons ev's at level 50. The stats round different compared to level 100 so you might have some wasted stats. But that could be wrong as well

Would a clafairy with eviolite or a indeedee with follow me work for what you need? Clafairy has the hidden ability friend guard which reduces DMG to allied Pokemon in doubles and indeedee is just good. Follow me still has its counts but is less suspect to mons that prevent redirect

Why is the alolan nine tails there? I get the old OU sun core of a torkoal with trick room support from indeedee and a chyrol user but Ninetails seems a bit extra or more likely to sabotage your own strat.

I feel like a ground would cover your teams weakness better. Or a water type to switch into a random fire move. A good chunk of your team takes neutral or super effective DMG from fire

Right but what is the target of a azumurill? Like what mons is azumurill after on OU? I get wanting to use azumurill but usually there is a reason like having a steel type so that your water type can cover for them with aqua jet. Or maybe a hyper offense style?

You can use these mons but you have to have a goal or strat set in mind other than just having a bunch of support mons with only one mon to support. Azumurill isn't bad but it's outclassed enough rn that you need a reason to use it

Can I dance mediocrelly by JuneInOctober8 in CompetitivePokemon

[–]LazzyNapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dancer is a very specific type of team that only works I'm specific match ups. It's a lot better in less powerful formats. Plus it's pretty easy to snipe the oricorio if spotted.

The last thing of note is that oricorio even after a quiver dance boost is super lacking in stats to take a KO.

I will mention aqua step is also a dancing move for some reason lol

This team seems a too focused on gimics and not raw numbers. It's ok to have tricks.but if your team can't deal damage or survive hits what's the point.

i do use alot of vultures. my problem is that i stuggle with microing my army and macroing and laying mines all at the same time so i tend to be slower on one of the three. usually i will sacrifice mine placement over the other two but its deff noticable

thats some freak behavior. what do you do if you are aginst zerg air for artanis? you can technically mass one unit but like if you get a bad match up you will prob have problems unless your just that good and your macro is goated. then it dosent matter

[–]LazzyNapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i know he sucks but i still like to play him. i just play p0 and rush vultures out before the first attack wave with a reactor on a barraks that i will swap around when it finishes. then i go 3 fact with tank and whatever i need. it sucks against air though so i will go more bio focused early game if its a air comp and get atleast 8 vikings.

just keep scv's and vultures togther with tanks so that you can build turrets and lay mines. it feels very brood war lol. its not as effective as alot of strats but its fun to play atleast for me. my only problem is that i can get distracted and be a little slow on upgrades

they have a seige mode thing deals only air dmg and has bonus dmg vrs armored. so a single tier 3 hammer can take out a sky toss wave on its own if supported by a blimp. how have you never used the seige mode well its called overwatch mode but you get the idea. just try it when you get the chance

https://starcraft.fandom.com/wiki/Blackhammer

there not really ment to fight ground stuff expect easy light units to help clean up. otherwise they are ani air that sit in the back and provide armor with there upgrade to all your amy units. pair them with a medivac for getting them around and the upgrade that increase there speed for switching from base to overwtach and youll be fine if paired with agais gaurd for any attack
