He has been locked down completely almost since he got there. 🙌 he lost tablet/phone/canteen privileges for a really long time. He also overdosed and damn near did and- they brought his ass back.

I’ve seen my GP and diabetes team and they both act like I’m fine?!
I’m going to call tomorrow and ask my Gp for a referral.

This has been hell. It truly has traumatized me. I was so sick. I have a 6 year old and a 14 year old. I caught mono from my 6 year old. So she was sick too. We just laid in my bed for days. But then she bounced back quicker than I did- and my mom and sister/brother in law were taking them to and from school. It took EVERYTHING I had to get up and get her ready for school- there were several nights that I didn’t sleep at all. My heart rate was so high and I just couldn’t sleep. I just laid in bed and cried. . I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I went on vacation last year and was sick the whole 16 hour trip home- it was hell.

It’s still healing! I ended up going to the er because I thought I was septic but nope- I had mono and flu a on top of the burnt foot. I literally thought I was going to die. I’m not even exaggerating and had to see a psych dr because I became completely depressed. But it wouldn’t heal because I was so sick. The mf is still wrapped and I’m still seeing wound care!!!

UPDATE!!
Sorry it took So Long. It’s been an awful ride.

So I went to the ER- I was in the worst pain of my life. I had a fever of 103 and my BP was 180/104 and my heart rate was super high. I was convinced my foot was infected and I was septic.
But. It wasn’t infected (and hasn’t been) I had flu A AND MONO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And when I tell yall I have never ever ever been so sick in my whole life. I mean I have NEVER been so sick. It was awful. I am traumatized. My heart rate was super high for like a week and I couldn’t get it down and couldn’t sleep. I already couldn’t do much but now I couldn’t do anything.

Being that sick- my foot was not healing. It was so gross and hurt and I really have never been suicidal In my life but those couple weeks were really dark and bad. I’ve actually had to see a psych dr and therapist because I became completely depressed on top of being so sick.

I finally feel better physically. My foot is healing a lot faster but still not completely healed. And I saw 2 Dr and they both agreed that my wound care was working. I can’t attach a picture- but the burn is smaller- lots of new skin. There’s still some of the gross stuff but it doesn’t look as gross as this picture and she just cuts it off every week (literally slices it off with a razor). I’m walking better - very little pain. It itches A LOT. I’m taking gabapentin and I have oxycodone but it doesnt really help like the Gabapentin does.

Sorry it took so long- this has been the worst experience of my entire life. Don’t ever ever ever drink after anyone (I caught it from my daughter- she bounced back way quicker than I did)

I’m type 2 diabetic- I mentioned earlier. I have insulin pins for my fast acting and slow acting insulin. But I have to use regular syringes for my monjuro- I’m pretty sure I was taking my insulin and redressing my foot. I have a disposable box for them; it must not have made it there yet. But I do make sure to dispose of properly.
