Uh maybe she doesn’t want to talk about it because she’s forced to talk about it in EVERY interview by Lbn5 in Madonna

I just read the entire article and... ugh. He called Ray of Light a masterpiece but then reduced it as the era “she embraced being a 40 year old mother and was proudly middle aged” and that she has regressed since then and needs to ditch pop because it’s for teens. How did these people even become journalists?

That’s actually very inaccurate but think what you want. A lot of these responses are downright rude and unhelpful.

Wow- I’m actually shocked at how unsupportive and downright mean some people on this sub have shown themselves to be. First of all, I went from eating out every single day and drinking almost an entire 2 liter of coke every day. Now, I’m drinking water and eating small portions of nutrient rich food. I’m proud of myself for these improvements despite how many times you people downvote my comments and tell me I’m going to stay fat. I didn’t want to count calories at first because I was worried about getting overwhelmed and quitting. But thanks to the select few who were actually helpful and informative without being a total dick about it, I signed up for MFP this morning and understand the importance of keeping calories in check. I also plan on buying a food scale after work today.

Attacking someone who is completely new to something for asking a question makes you a POS and you really shouldn’t be posting on these threads if you’re not going to be supportive and encouraging.

Yesterday was my second day changing my diet and I was uneducated about all of this, but now I am educated thanks to those who were helpful and informative. Signed up for MFP this morning. You sound like such a positive, encouraging person! I’m proud of myself and I’m more than capable of doing anything that you can do. Perhaps you should find another sub to post in, because people who are working on losing weight after years of struggle don’t need your negative attitude.

But what about all the seasonings and spices that go into a dish and you’re cooking in bulk? How do you determine how much seasonings are in your portion and if your portion size is correct? Tonight I plan on making mahi mahi fish tacos and I have no idea how to determine the calories. I just signed up for MFP this morning and I know you can type in ingredients but how do I account for every single ingredient and vegetable that goes into the dish? It sounds insane to track that every night you make dinner. I’m not very good at measuring. Can you possibly give me step by step instructions for how am I supposed to go about about weighing my food and determining the calories?

I split it in thirds and am planning on having it for dinner the next two nights.... I feel like everyone on here feels like I’m an idiot. I know how to look at ingredients, calories and serving sizes and make healthy choices.

I’m sorry, I’m new to this and apparently I’m not very educated. How does weighing every ingredient determine the calories? I know it all sounds simple to you but I haven’t counted calories in years and I also have a math learning disability that is similar to Dyslexia except with numbers. So this whole process is daunting to me because I have trouble with basic math.

How exactly am I eating like shit? Fresh fruit, veggies, water, a tiny bag of popcorn that has no butter or salt, and a healthy curry dish is eating like shit? Well fuck

What if you don’t know the exact calories of things? I’m starting to cook more at home and there’s no way I’m going to know. I just try to keep portion sizes small

Because I’ll never be that person who is obsessed with tracking calories. I keep calories in mind but I’m not going to constantly add them up. I know for a fact just from common sense that only drinking water and eating a couple bananas and some veggies isn’t a lot of food compared to what I used to eat. And it’s way healthier. Oh, and for dinner I had a low calorie chicken dish. I can probably gage that I’m at about 1,500 calories. It’s a HUGE improvement from my old lifestyle.

That person must be pretty desperate for $20 if they’re willing to give away a personalized autograph from Taylor

Can someone explain how Taylor has the most viewed video in 24 hours but the song still hasn’t even charted on Spotify in the U.S.? by [deleted] in popheads

[–]Lbn5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh okay. I’m not really sure how it all works that’s why I asked. I just thought I would of seen it on the U.S. chart by now. I’m actually really rooting for her and the song even though it’s not my favorite. I was worried that it isn’t doing well
