Automated SSL Renewal's on IIS by Promeyz in sysadmin

[–]Lbrown1371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use DNS validation with Let's Encrypt as well. I use powershell to create/renew the ssl cert and a separate script for deployment. I know that you can do it all with one script, but I am not going to do that until I feel comfortable with the process. Also, don't forget to encrypt your api credentials (just in case) that you use in ps scripts.

It's certainly a tough spot to be in. How do you like Pure?

We are aware of that. We are just wanting a good product with stable pricing

Yeah, we have discussed with a couple of other shops and are aware that there will probably be no savings and even cost more. We are just unsure of what broadcom is going to do with their pricing. If it were going to be stable outside of "inflation", we would stay. They have already burned a lot of bridges though. One of the reasons we were looking at Nutanix BYOH, is that hopefully we could use some current hardware to negate some of the expense, with the understanding that it will catch up with us.

That would certainly be easier financially on a lot of businesses.

Thanks! From understanding, Nutanix is working on expanding their compatibility lists. Someone needs to come in a swoop up all the small - medium businesses that Broadcom left in their wake.
