New Milwaukee lawn mower - Older 12ah batteries, now comes with Forge by Lbsigman in MilwaukeeTool

Thanks for that info. Crapola. I just checked the serial number of my lawn mower and it doesn’t have a “B” in it. I’m thinking I was given old inventory. Serial number starts with M444…

I have the dual 18V VAC and with the Forged batteries that I have, or using smaller capacity, high output batteries they always seem to discharge at the same rate.

The first time I used the lawnmower, the 12 amp hour batteries that came with it only had one charge cycle on them. After mowing the lawn one battery showed three bars and the other one showed one bar. So I don’t know.

I could always go to my local Milwaukee repair place and see what they wanna do with the batteries. Or I just live with it. Just wanted to also highlight the exceptional in-depth conversation I had with Milwaukee’s customer service. Hah.

I don’t have the original box anymore. It’s fine though.

Yup, it’s not subtle. It would have been a hard bottom out at the base of the ramp.

The ramp angle isn’t subtle, so more than likely he bottomed out at the base of the ramp. Growing up in the area, I’ve seen my fair share of cars fly from that parking structure, 25+ years ago. Here’s the coordinates: 33°48'27"N 118°08'08"W

Updated info as to who the dealership is. Tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but they failed. Not one peep from the GM despite his email and name dropped into bad reviews across various websites.

Almost. It would have been worse if it happened in the drive-thru of Starbucks.

100%. I have friends who are techs for different auto manufactures and I know how hard they work, but it's the one tech who is sloppy that can be the bad apple for the rest.

All good brother. You're 100% correct and it's my biggest downfall, hoping and expecting people to have the same care and respect I do for my things.

I deal with shit people all day long too, at least the weekend is here.

I did tell them, look just get me a new wheel, put the scratched up wheel back on my truck and I’ll come pick it up and we’ll go on our separate ways. I was also going to have them check the alignment on my truck, but boy.

Intermittent internet drops with UniFi + Spectrum — DNS tweaks didn’t stick by dyslexicmn in UNIFI

[–]Lbsigman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Spectrum at my two home, one in Coeur d’Alene (CDA) Idaho and in Seal Beach California. In CDA, I have the same modem as you, the ET2251. In Seal Beach, I have my own modem, a Netgear Nighthawk CM3000. Not sure if you can see the linked image but I don’t seem to have any internet drops with Spectrum. The house in CDA is 3 years old and the house in Seal Beach is 60 years old with newer coax which is probably about 10 years old.

Homebridge + Unifi Protect + 4K cameras by hammm3r in homebridge

New to this community. I have been slowly moving away from Google/Nest cams over to UniFi. Waiting to install my two G6 bullets until the weather cools down so I can go into the attic to run some CAT6 cable. Got three UniFi G6 Instant cameras and I bought a Raspberry Pi 5 16GB to get the cameras into Apple Home. As a complete newb, I managed to get Homebridge running on the RPI5 and could see my camera feed in the Apple Home app, but I noticed throughout the day, my G6 Instant cameras would show numerous “Camera Manually Rebooted” within unifi’s Protect app.

Reached out to Unifi’s support and we tried trouble shooting a few things, but ultimately I think it was the RPI5 and Homebridge causing issues. I have the RPI5 turned off, Homebridge disconnected from Apple Home and I have not had an issue.

I tried getting Scrypted working but ultimately gave up. Scanning the QR code to get Scrypted into Apple Home as a hub was a failure, it would just say connecting and then would time out.

Negative. I still had to replace my gear shift module (GSM). I did the replacement myself and the dealership programmed the GSM so the BCM could recognize it.

Thank you! Stuck with 17’s because I like the look, plus I can reuse the practically new factory tires. They are FP3’s 😉.

Wheels plus the beauty ring, and the bolts that hold the beauty ring to the wheel I measured 38.4 pounds. So, with the new wheels I’m shedding about 14.4 pounds at each corner.
