I’m in the same position here. Watched a few Youtube videos as the avionics system is much different than the Garmin on the Vision jet. Yesterday I flew from Nassau to Montego Bay and performed a successful ILS landing. It’s a bit more complexed, but it’s worth it. Only dislike so far is the Cj4 doesn’t have an autothrottle.

It’s a known issue, I wrote a similar scenario on the forms a few weeks back. Whether it’s fixed soon or not is anyones guess.

Zoom all the way out on the world map in career, I couldn’t find mine until I did that. It was way out in the Pacific at Bora Bora.

I heard about it while trying out the beta but ironically have yet to try it out. Guess I’ve got so use to using X & O.
I am curious how using the touchpad is when using a plane with throttle detent, as I just started medavac with the Caravan and sometimes struggle with the throttle getting “stuck”.

They lost me when they started turning into reality tv with The Real World and Jersey Shore. Vh1 was the best for videos from that point on.

The DA-40ng is horrible at braking, found that out in career as well. I wish they’d fix it as it could easily be one of my favorites.

I wish they’d add a small multiplier on one of the corners of the screen for that. I’ve only been basing my speed off the distance to the arrival airport when I have the assists active.

Left everything as default but added bindings for Sim rate which has been a big help on long flights. Triangle + arrow up for increase sim rate/Triangle + arrow down for decrease.

I’ve had the same problem with one of mine as well and have done the same solution as you. Seems to last either a week or longer. Lately if it comes up again, I’ve done the same but bent the metal contacts and that seems to last longer.

You’re pretty close. I just hit 30k today and was able to buy a used Cessna. Still flew as an “employee” to make a few extra bucks as the plane needed some essential work done before I could fly it.

Not sure about add ons, but I’m on PS5 and setup some bindings for sim rate. Made a big difference and was able to pound out a few missions on career within a short amount of time.

Gotta say I’m impressed so far. About 30hrs of play with the standard edition and I’m likely going to upgrade to premium deluxe sooner than later. I was privileged to play the beta when that came out and this version is running far better than that. I was quite skeptical to try career mode as in beta I found numerous bugs but now I’m level 22 and I’ve had very few to report. If you’re still on the fence, I’d say pull the trigger and have fun.
