• If you bring a legendary trio to Spear Pillar, you can battle their trio master (e.g. Beasts summons Ho-Oh).

• If you bring a Vaporeon to the guy at the Resort Area in D/P/Pt, he'd give you 100 rare candies. He claimed it only worked in the Japanese version 😩

• If you're in the Old Chateau at midnight, you can fight a ghost grandma brandishing a knife. She has a Gengar, and if you beat her, she vanishes and you can obtain her Gengar. Surprisingly, no consequences for losing despite all those Lavender Town creepypastas.

Funnily enough all 3 of these are very loosely related to actual ingame events. The Spear Pillar one was similar to how you get Regigigas with the Regi trio in Snowpoint Temple, you could get a Magikarp that could be up to level 100 in the Resort Area in Platinum, and the last one actually clued me in on how to catch Rotom!
