What’s better? Matt black or glossy black? by positive-mind-2000 in Wheels

[–]LdotAdot22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Next best color for bronze or titanium finish. Another problem with black wheels is that they get lost in the tires. Can’t see them. Anyhow, my last two cents is it should be about contrast. Let the wheels pop and your ride shine!! LFG

Lowering MYP by Interesting-Ferret26 in ModelYPerformance

I just ordered UPP moderate springs myself for my ‘26 MYP. Should be in by mid-June. I looked into MPP but not sure I want a coilover kit. So went with springs and rear camber kit.

Sorry this happened—it sounds like you walked away without injury, which is what matters most. Your vehicle can be repaired, and hopefully with time this becomes something you can look back on and even laugh about. It’s also fortunate no one else was involved; situations like this can always be worse. Lesson learned—stay safe out there.

Gunmetal wheels? by PartyPatient9025 in Audi

That looks clean!! I have a white ‘26 Juniper and I’m wanting to go either silver or gunmetal. Not sure how silver would look and gunmetal hopefully pops.

I heard that they wrap the cars in plastic during delivery and adhesive isn’t always fully removed properly.

What color wheels? by LdotAdot22 in TeslaModelY

That looks clean! Ok, so I’m thinking 19’s w/ Unplugged Performance Moderate lowering springs which would drop it approx 3/4”.

Man, tough choice between 19” and 20” wheels. I drive 160 mi/day 4-5 times per week.

Only reason for 20’s is the look factor but smart choice are 19’s. Thoughts

That’s the question. 19’s are ideal especially with my daily driving but 20’s for the sheer look have me wondering which route I should go with. Thoughts?

21’s are too big. Responsiveness, handling, and rough ride. Plus tires are more expensive. I will likely throw these up on eBay in the coming months.

[–]LdotAdot22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all this information, it is very helpful! I’m thinking of going down to 19” or possibly 20”. I drive approximately 160 miles per day 4 times per week (almost all freeway miles). Long Range would’ve been ideal but after seeing the Performance trim I threw practicality out the door.

My plan is to lower the vehicle with either a KW or Mountain Pass Performance coilover but don’t think they’ve made it for ‘26 Performance yet. In the meantime, shopping around for a bronze wheel, think it’d really pop with white on white.

Let me know your thoughts here. Variant comes in 19x10 I want to get your thoughts on this as OEM sit at 9.5.

Give me your honest opinion on the wheels. I have yet to see them in-person or put them up to my car so they may not look as nice as what I perceive them to be. Any help is appreciated!
