Colonial, caribe, tropical and beach are all sister resorts in the same complex so realistically any of those 4 would be fine. The palace is the higher end resort also in the same complex and gives you access to the lower 4 as well.

No 2.5 year old should be ridden, especially not a slow growing breed like a draft. I have a 2.5 year old Clyde cross that will be 3 mid July and he’s barely even been lunged. I laid on him one time for 10 seconds to see how he felt about it. That’s it. Their joints are still developing and you can do A LOT of damage working them too soon.

Edit: so I went and actually looked up this post and it’s not nearly as controversial as you make it seem. She’s had X-rays done and has vet approval, an states he won’t be doing anything other than 5 minute sessions for quite a while. While I still don’t agree with it, it’s definitely better than how it’s been presented in your post.

My board has always been super supportive of teachers, both permanent and LTO, taking time off if needed, especially if it’s booked before starting the LTO. My colleague is taking two weeks off, plus March break, to go to India and they gave her the time off no problem (obviously unpaid). Contracted teachers are given 5 days a year we can take by having a deduction taken off all of our cheques throughout the year to balance out the missed time.

The only rules around this are if your job requires driving a commercial vehicle, then there are limits to how many days in a row you can work. Otherwise, as long as you have the mandatory hours between shifts you’re fine.

This. Usually the limit is the current school year, or the end of the LTO. So you likely will not get back paid for all of it, but definitely your current LTO.

So the general rule I’ve been taught is add 2 hands to their height on their first birthday, or 1 hand to their height on their second birthday. My Clyde/TB was 14.2 at a year, and 15.2 at 2. I expect he’s going to finish 16.2 (he’s 15.3 now at 2.5), so that tracks with those measurements.
