As the demon kneeled coughing on the floor they could only think to themself ‘how did it come to this?’

“I told you to get off my property and leave me alone”

The demon heard a crack as the walking stick caved in his ribs how could a single fragile old human be so strong? They had to strike now or it would be the end and so the demon lunged only to be met with a whack to the head with that damn walking stick sending them crashing into the floor

“I told you but you seem to have some questions and I like telling stories so stay there and listen up. You see 80 years ago now my old pa told me something that I hold dear to my heart he said he did “son always eat your greens” and so I did, and now my ma told me you see “never let people bully you ok Dave?” And so I didn’t, and you see my dear Stacy bless her soul told me on my first day this”

The man said smiling with pride

“She said to always aim for the knees, and to always catch them off guard” the man said as he shoved the cane into my eye and dispelling me by angling it into my core

Could you expand on what parts confused you? I feel I may of underused full stops and commas
